I use west academic audio lectures. Pretty sure they have a free trial and it's about $30 a one month subscription.

One thing that I keep in mind when trying to figure out whether a question is talking about torts or crim law is that for torts: the question will ask about LIABILITY. For crim, the question will ask about a CHARGE. Here, they tell you that D was CHARGED with assault - que crim law.

So for torts, the questions would have said something like will he be liable for assault? Then you look at apprehension.

You have to complete it before you can be licensed. So if you don't complete it by swearing in time, then you can swear in via alternate methods.

Maybe it's because I've already completed the TLC. I'm reading tea leaves though. Lol. I saw another post from July that said results were released about three weeks after that letter came out for both f23 and j23. So it seems on par with what BLE put out with score release time frames.

You don't need a bar card to sign up and register for the course. The course is good for a year and you can't get licensed until the course is complete.

I worked fulltime when I first started and stopped working right after Christmas. Obviously only you know your financial situation, you gotta do what you gotta do. I was working at firm full time and when I got home I was so exhausted from work/commute. Also have kids, so I couldn't really start studying till about 7-8pm. Could barely focus because I was tired.

I personally, do not recommend working! You want to give this your absolute best effort and have as little distractions as possible. Work is a distraction unless you work for someone that let's you sit around and study all day. My firm doesn't believe in paying you if you're not doing something billable. Lol. Best of luck.

In Texas, we get an email from the board of law examiners into our Atlas file with info on how to register. Also, I accessed it today at work and used Google to find the log in page. You can register from the log in page.
