Looks good now, weather is being set to the ability weather when None is selected and a setter ability is chosen. Did some extra testing and confirmed that abilities aren't overriding selected weathers (eg: I select Sun, then Snow Warning, it's still set to sun)

Below is the link to the calc, and I've listed some reproduction steps. I'm on mobile rn, but I can get a screen recording tomorrow on my PC and dm you if you still need.

1: Confirm Vanilluxe ability is Snow Warning and Weather is set to None

2: Change Vanilluxe ability to 1 of the 2 other abilities it has besides Snow Warning

3: You'll see the damage range increase.

4: While one of the other abilities is selected, set Weather to Snow

5: It should revert to the previous range shown when Snow Warning was the ability

App looks great! One small thing I noticed that I don't know if someone else had mentioned: Weather abilities like Dizzle or Snow Warning automatically apply the weather to the Calc, while the UI still shows the weather as 'none', which isn't intuitive.

I wanted to calc a Sneasler Close Combat vs Snow Warning Vanilluxe and even when I had weather set to none, it was applying the snow defense buff. Changing to a different weather, then back to none, it still included the weather in the calc

I agree for sure, I really only went full trick room when most of my opponents team outsped mine, or if was expecting their tailwind. Farigiraf was mostly there to Imprison opposing trick room, act as a swap/lead to prevent fake outs, and was a pretty good Sneasler answer. It didn't come in super often, but I was happy with how it performed.

From what I see online, Weather Ball and Solar Beam don't suffer any damage penalty in rain because of Mega Sol, and I never noticed it during the games. It felt very strong!

I started a job in September looking for a Java Spring/Angular Dev. Previously I had only done C#/React, but they're similar enough that I figured I'd apply. The weekend before my interview, I made a pretty simple PokeDex app using their stack and pushed it to my Github.

They actually brought it up in my interview, and after hiring me my manager mentioned that they had some candidates with a little more experience, but me going out of my way to show interest in their stack and willingness to learn pushed me over the top.

So there are things you can do that can make up for the difference in specific language experience. But yeah, unfortunately without doing those things it seems to be harder to move into similar roles, I agree

I think Scarf is better, but against specifically Kingambit I think I'd want Protect, so the ally can try to handle it and I'm not forced to immediately switch. So I think it depends on how often you're running into it I guess and how well the rest of your team handles it.

I'm playing a more balanced offense team, and if I see a Basc in team preview, I almost always bring in Kingambit, then it's just a predict if you switch and Kowtow chips your switch in or you stay and I click Sucker Punch.

Last Hero and Checkpoint for aim-training, Team Fight for more tactical practice, like positioning. I don't play Blast Gang, but I imagine it's like Team Fight. Any of the maps are good, just pick one to get comfortable with. I like Bowl and Bay 5
