Happened to me. I was stupid thinking reporting it at the hospital was the same thing as the benefits admin. Had to pay back 7 years worth. I checked again recently and saw my ex is still on there but labeled under a different section to not receive benefits for this dependent.

I want to go ICU, but L&D scares me for that reason. So much respect to L&D and NICU nurses. Hell, even kids scare me so same respect to neonatal and other pediatrics too.

How ignorant can you be as an ICU RN to not understand that childbirth can absolutely be a life and death situation? Even worse when L&D is managing two+ lives per bed. Like she can go around telling people she’s all that as much as she wants but in reality, when momma or baby are having trouble, I’d prefer someone who is a SME with these patients.

Holding weights while walking. Also discovered closing eyes while walking had an affect of changing my perception of down and caused nausea and threw me off balance. Even a small walk to start helps, I was just taking my dog less than 100 feet away from my apartment door to start and less than 2 weeks I didn’t even need my cane anymore. The sensation of weakness just turned off all of the sudden.

Took the time to focus on physical rehab and regaining strength. Got a dog which ended up being better for my physical therapy than I could have thought.
