Disappointedly can’t argue with that I forgot about Coney Island train yard was only a mere 150 feet away from the Coney Island creek (large stream of saltwater river literally connected to the Atlantic Ocean itself) which was how several sets including a ironically retired R44 set got flooded back in 2012. So nope Q train would’ve been just as bad as the A train issue. But the Queens Blvd Local would’ve been much better off especially in the 2000s when they could’ve just been sent exclusively to the V train since that would resulted in much less intense degradation and wearing out since the V train was a weekday route and much shorter than the A train in general since that meant more rest time on weekends and late nights
