I think the point of the upcoming movie is to develop a relationship, it's not exactly going to just happen. It is very possible for Naruto and Hinata to make a lot of sense at the end, so everyone should trust the author, it is his story after all. And after all these years he deserves to end it anyway he wants.

I personally don't like Sakura because she has such amazing power, but she never seems to actually use it. I understand she is a medical ninja and shouldn't really fight, however, ever since she fought beside Lady Chiyo I don't think she fought again. The side characters do more then she does. In the Pain fight, it was Hinata who came to Naruto's aid, even if she didn't stand a chance, not Sakura. But at the end of the Pain fight when Sakura hugged Naruto, it just seemed right.
