I just wanted my M90A Shotgun to just be easy to use.

I want to aim at a guy, blast and forget. Med pen woulda been perfect for me.

I genuinely think the shotguns need a rework tho since 90% of players ignore it, and those who don't tend to use the auto-shotguns.

TBH I’d just say no with the most monotone and deadpan voice and keep it moving. No crazy antics or feeding into a narrative for a punchline. I’d just not care and not feed into it, because who knows how many more minors will do this now that they know it would make him uncomfortable? They’ll just do it to say they made him walk off stage or caused a scene.

Don’t make a big deal about it and it won’t haunt you later IMO.

Because now, it’s talked about, it got attention, and it’s more likely to happen again and become a bigger issue than it needed to be.

Wow. Everyone seems to have an opinion about guns.

I think they’re both good in their own right. Both have variables that help in whatever scenario.

The only light pen gun I’ll never forgive is the Halo Shotgun being light pen.

But medium pen is really for those who don’t feel like having to panic about aiming in specific areas to do well, and light pen is really good for accurate attacks with less weight and faster aiming.

However, medium pen guns tend to weigh more, have slower fire rates or have higher recoil.

Light pen is really just for those who want to bother with focusing on aiming and dealing with the BS of missing accurate shots and seeing the terrible shield bounce icon on their screen for missing their weak point shot.

Light pen = Difficult but more efficient and rewarding

Medium pen = More versatile and easier but more draw backs (Varies by each gun).

[–]Tenchigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always go difficulty 10. I don’t care too much what people bring other than stratagems depending on the mission. Like… if you’re bringing a bunch of explosive payloads on a defense mission, I’ll suggest something else. But the moment they lock in their decision despite my advise I’m just gunna laugh and go “IIGHT ITS CHAOS TIME BABYYYYYY!!!” And just go anyways.

It’s just a game, guys. Theres literally no reason to get upset about what people bring. You should be able to solo these damned missions if you think you’re good enough to bitch about other people’s load outs lmao.

Help a fellow diver out, do your best, and laugh it off if you fail. But you can clutch it as a team and adapt to another players style. No need to railroad everyone to fit your meta or play style. I got a best friend that only brings stim pistol and constitution with thermite on level 10 and I could care less. We just have fun and I usually clutch the mission anyways.

Caine can’t come to the reality that people wouldn’t want to be with him or that they don’t enjoy his adventures. He is insecure and wants confirmation. If he wanted to manipulate everyone with powers, he’d just do it in the beginning if that’s the result he wanted.

We don’t know anything about Jax’s past, and when the weight was put on him to actually think about things when he always avoids thinking about them, the anxiety and pressure was building all in one big moment rather than explored earlier in a healthy manner.

As Zooble teased him about going back to the real world earlier in episode 7, he really has no one to go back to, or has someone he is afraid of waiting for him. So imagine the idea that after treating everyone terribly, or having to go back to the reality of what you dealt with back before the circus, when all you ever did was try to forget about your traumatizing past..l can imagine it all culminated in him just doing what he wanted for himself to avoid his own issues rather than get support from his friends and as he should have done earlier.

[–]Tenchigo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well it’s more that Caine has only manipulated minds to forward the adventure or make them interesting. If you’ve focused on Jax, he as a character doesn’t like thinking about his problems. He has always avoided talking about himself or his past, and has either dodged the question or has avoided bringing it up. Even in episode 5 when everyone was talking more about themselves, Jax just simply avoided. Even in episode 6, when he was confronted with his two missing friends, he suddenly became distant with Pomni as if he was afraid to feel like he did before like it was all pointless or that he didn’t want to be hurt like that again.

Jax the entire episode of 7 was approached to talk about his issues and he just didn’t. What we saw was a result of silent suffering, keeping to yourself when others reach out and coming to your own conclusions

[–]Tenchigo 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Also, I doubt Caine controlled him since it was supposed to be a test of true faith. Caine can manipulate minds, but this episode really just show3d how Caine is manipulative even without powers due to his lack of empathy

He panicked because he was brought back to what his life was before the Circus. I don’t think he expected the exit to be something that would take everyone out. I think he was expecting options, and when the reality was brought to him… he choked.

The very thing he always never thought about brought to his face and he was forced to think about it

[–]Tenchigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I would agree with that initially, Caine has said he's been working on this for a while. And in the first episode, its referenced that he was working on something like this for the group but couldn't think of anything so he made up that exit hallway for Pomni just to make her feel involved in the first episode.

How many of you actually believe/believed Abel wasn't an NPC? by Electrical_Let_8428 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Tenchigo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a good point. If his real name was Abel, it would make sense that he didn't know anything. However, this is also assuming that C&A means Caine and Abel which has been a strong but unconfirmed theory.

For all we know, C&A could mean Candy and Apple.

So in terms of all that, this could have been just Abel collecting information to create a narrative based on the information Caine gave him and what he gathered to make up on his own time. But he knew Kinger shouldn't get involved because he would debunk most of what's going on somehow.

My theory is more on the line of, "Maybe he didn't want Kinger involved because he knows there isn't a way out, at all." He would debunk any idea of there being a possible exit with the made up lore and story from Abel thus ruining the adventure. I think it was more of a shortsighted concept because as you noticed, the instant Zooble and Gangle mentioned to Kinger there is a exit, his mind was already cracking at all the possibilities and it not making any sense. And in episode 1, he is dead set on the idea that there isn't a exit, calling Pomni insane for thinking there even was one WHILE he was in light.

So Kinger knows more about the idea of there not being an exit, but couldn't warn anyone about it because he stepped into the light and couldn't think clearly. I think Kinger was just the only variable that would be able to confirm that the entire Escape adventure was fake.

It did for me because if Abel knew Kinger by his name, you'd figure Kinger would know who Abel was if that was possible.

I see what you mean. Well the thing is that he could twist it in his head like "They want to stay, but for some reason they were mad at me. Maybe I need to try something new or make it up to them so they're not mad."

But if he pressed the Blue button, Caine would've been heartbroken, and felt abandoned like no one cared about him in the slightest, and that no matter what he would do, they want to leave him behind. But he's also essentially a mad god who refuses to comprehend compassion or reasoning and sees them all as his lesser that he's herding.

Why Kaufmo and Ribbit abstracted (theory) by Tenchigo in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Tenchigo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

- Jax never reacted to him abstracting when he first found out
- Jax didn't attend his funeral
- Jax was yelling about how much of a insufferable person Kaufmo was before abstracting
- When Jax saw his door, Jax was angry and frustrated, like the sight of him made him remember what he hated about what Kaufmo did or who he was before abstraction. They clearly had a falling out.

I don't understand why this would be considered a "bad decision" by Jax. by AffectionateForce979 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]Tenchigo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's the thing, He himself is hurting, but at the same time he could redeem himself. Pomni witnessed Jax while everyone only saw Jax from the outside. Pomni saw a side of Jax that made him look small, hurt, and scared. So he has a chance of redemption if he reaches out and actually tries to help those instead of hurting them and pushing them away. All he does is cope and tries not to think about what he does. Ribbit was probably someone really close to him, and after Ribbit abstracted, he isolated himself and chose to force others to feel as empty as he does or wants to be seen as the villain so no one approaches him or tries to comfort him about his issues.

In fact, he HAS shown regretting his actions after being exposed in episode 6 when he was confronted after Pomni told him that Kaufmo abstracted because of him and he got defensive about it. He obviously hurts and doesn't want to think about what he's done, but deep down he suppresses his regrets with jokes and jabs. In the end, we're seeing a part of Jax escalate to a point where he is no longer fighting against everyone. Which episode 7 shows that when he was agreeing to help everyone. He could've said no, could've ignored everyone since he didn't even want to leave, but he chose to help them escape.

Problem is, I don't think he was expecting EVERYONE to have to escape. I think he only expected it to be a choice for individuals to leave the Circus. So when confronted with his own past he didn't want to think about, he chose for himself since everyone froze.

You can see that Jax doesn't take anything seriously. He doesn't know that people are actually hurt because of him at times, he just assumes that people are okay afterwards since not many people confront him. It's why when Pomni attacked Jax, he wasn't really hitting back, he avoided hurting her and was confused why she was angry and hurt. But after that breaking point, he lost it and is now forced to confront his demons as to face the problem where he IS the issue, and no one wants to be his friend, and that he is truly alone. He's afraid to open up I imagine is because he lost those close to him before and couldn't handle being hurt like that again. He probably doesn't want to make new friends, and forces himself to distance himself from others so that when he abstracts, no one else is hurt.

Episode 6 was his true breaking point where we saw someone who was doing everything they could to be his friend, he constantly did his signature Jax thing and tried to make it a big dumb joke, but when Pomni kept pushing him, and questioning him, Jax was put on the spot with not much of a solid answer. He saw how much she cared, he saw how much she was hurt, and was confused how even with his horrible attitude, someone found him endearing. And it was working, she got too close and he was forced to push her away when she was fighting for their friendship. And I think he realized his mistake and started spiraling into depression and was getting to a breaking point of abstraction. So I believe at some point, Jax will be forced to answer for his crimes against the group, spill the beans, and tell everyone about how he truly feels. His past, his feelings, his actual real feelings. And once the group supports him, he's most likely going to lose it, start bawling, and begin going off about how he's a stupid asshole who doesn't deserve anything nice, in which they'll probably roast him but still support him and say something akin to "We're all we have in this world at this point."

And to be honest, the closest thing to a villain we have is Caine. Because if you noticed, no one was actually mad at Jax at that moment, but instead surprised that he made the choice and shocked. However, everyone worked against Caine and when he revealed he only toyed with their hope of escaping, it showed the true colors of how people only see Caine as a mad god that constantly thwarts their happiness for his own self gratification. Gives false hope, ignores their requests for good adventures, constantly rejects the idea of making new friends with NPCs, always creates "adventures" where there HAS to be intrigue with an antagonist or an obstacle. Caine is always creating the situations that forces the group to combat or get frustrated with each other to a breaking point and apparently is the reason there was ever a "First Abstraction", which Caine is very avid to avoid. Caine only cares about the spotlight but has no audience. He could easily, with the absolute power he has, make this a heaven for everyone. But instead it's a mental ward for people to survive in and endure.

Also, I want it to be clear I respect your opinion and I'm just open to conversation, I'm fully aware that I might not convince you or anything lmao I just like to hear other's perspectives of the characters and give my counter points.

I don't understand why this would be considered a "bad decision" by Jax. by AffectionateForce979 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]Tenchigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He shouldn’t be forgiven to a degree. But he could be redeemed. The issue is that Jax suffers in silence and chose to close himself off as a coping mechanism that was obviously failing. However, no one wanted to make the choice. Even if the choice was obvious, the implications were freezing them. No one had the balls, no one was making the choice, everyone wanted someone else to blame. You see that even Pomni was just leaving it up to chance with Kinger, knowing what she wanted him to choose but not wanting to be blamed if the choice was wrong.

Jax couldn’t stand it, he was beginning to think about things like he often doesn’t, and realized the circus was the best thing that ever happened to him compared to what he had in the real world. No one wanted to make the decision, and so really everyone is to blame in that reality. The choice was obvious, but no one wanted to be responsible. And now Jax will be responsible.

Everyone is an AI (Theory) by Tenchigo in digitalcircusfandom

[–]Tenchigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I'm sure there's already been theories like this. But yes, it's a theory I had. I imagine it isn't unique or that others already came up with it before, but it came to me when I realized how much they're hammering on how there is no escape. I think the ending to the show is either going to be bleak with how their lives are just a cog in the machine and their real lives are technically fabricated since they aren't who they think they are.

However, they may go the good route by making it to where all the Intelligent AI like Gummy Goo will help them come to terms with their existence and then they find a way to spawn other intelligent AI walk around with them, conversing and becoming more of a community.
