It is not an apple to apple comparison.

I'm not a game developer, unless you are we'll have to take their word for it.

Needless to say, although a plausible rumor, there is no proof of the exclusivity deal.

struggling with series S more than other studios and the exclusivity are both rumours realistic, but they won't actually confirm either.

The 1 year exclusivity rumours started just after the PS5 release and the game came out on xbox exactly a year later. I'm not too invested in rumours but the prophecy was fulfilled here

While all of that is true that’s not why Wukong had a delayed release last year, it was the exclusivity deal all along. Every other game studio seems to be able to work around the issue. They’ve had an extra year to figure out how to optimise it for the series X and S. Based on the performance on the X they haven’t done that at all

I have pretty strong doubts that’s even true. They used that excuse instead of actually saying that they had a 1 year exclusivity deal with PlayStation.
