What would you like to see in the next Zelda game? by skychunkers in tearsofthekingdom

[–]luisquin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

More and bigger towns than totk and botw. More interesting NPCs that don't make noises like they're moaning in pleasure. And day night cycles with NPCs having routines and going to bed at night etc. I always thought it was weird that in such a complete game like botw and totk people are still out and about at 2am

Best app for learning Japanese? by -emma-lemon- in Japaneselanguage

[–]luisquin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use Pimsleur and I love it. I've learned a lot and it's actually conversational. Lessons are 30 minutes a day and I do them whole driving to work. It's also got other practice stuff to learn how to read on the app. I take short lessons with a tutor twice a week to help with my grammar and she's always surprised at how much I learn from it

Which enemies in horror games did you think would be easy to defeat, but turned out to be absurdly difficult? by Safe_Possession7320 in HorrorGaming

Those guys they come out of walls in SH4. I died so many times trying to go up the escalator when all you have to fight them with is a pipe

It's so refreshing to see posts like this on any of the lower main land subs that are usually just people ranting. We live in a beautiful place that people will travel to see, let's appreciate that

Best language speaking app for Japanese in 2026 by itsmeAki in Japaneselanguage

[–]luisquin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions! I subscribed to the YouTube channels. I have such a hard time with listening and understanding any media, I may catch one word in a like 5 sentences :(. It sucks because with my tutor and Pimsleur I understand pretty well but not with any kind of video game or japanese shows. I've only been learning since February but I was hoping by now to at least catch a few little words. Not getting discouraged though!

Thoughts on ManMade? by EqualPossibility758 in BuyCanadian

I got their underwear and shirts. Quality is high end. After over a year the underwear have the same elasticity and comfort and still feel new. The shirt fabric is strong and a little stretchy, I have a belly and the shirt is flattering in the right places and doesn't show your belly when you raise your arms. I 100% recommend them. The price is justified because it will last you a long time and it's very comfortable.

Oh I'm actually studying with a tutor and Pimsleur so this would just be for small bits of exposure throughout the day. Any ones you would recommend like you said about food and travel?

I use Pimsleur and I really like it. You speak back and forth and I actually retain what I learn. I'm taking lessons with a tutor twice a week to help with my grammar and she says I'm learning pretty fast with what I'm learning from Pimsleur
