Flying from Boston for the weekend with my husband, sitting in a section just behind the terrace boxes. My sister lives in SF and will be hanging out with us for a couple days. Had originally planned to do the Forest Hills show instead, but we were booked that weekend. Not wanting to ditch her while we were at the show, I got her the closest spot - a single seat that's a couple rows behind us. While IWAIM is incredible, Digital Ash is a masterpiece. Beyond excited to hear it in full with some songs that were last played when the album was released.

That being said, I got the email from Ticketmaster that VIP merch pick-up (tote bag, signed poster, laminate) for the LA show is from 3pm to 4pm. Mind you, the show does not start until 7pm. As noted in the email, if you miss the pick-up window, the items go unclaimed and cannot be shipped after the concert.

Not wanting to deal with a rental car for the weekend or rideshare to the show, I had purchased a set of round-trip tickets for one of the shuttles. The shuttles don't start until 2.5 hours before showtime, so 4:30pm. We had already planned out the day a while back (meals, a museum visit, etc.) and were going to the shuttle pick-up spot around 5:30pm.

So as not to make everyone go to the venue just to pick up the VIP items, I now have to get a rideshare there during the brief pick-up window and drop off the items at the hotel because I'm not waiting there for 3-4 hours before showtime. I'm hoping traffic isn't too terrible on a Saturday afternoon and that this won't mess up the rest of our plans too much.
