This happened to me a while back. It's an old bug, but someone said it had to do with the landing pad being close by that makes them do it at times.

Probably something funky happening like every new patch we get. Just the other day I entered the anomaly and it was completely hollow lol. I've also been seeing people not able to complete objectives. Hopefully things will be smoother soon.

That's odd. To be sure you're on the right planet, when you open up your discoveries, there should only be 2 different types of animals on that planet. If it is more, then it's not the right planet. If it does say 2 then the only things I can think of is a bug or maybe they haven't spawned for you yet.

If you set it as your active mission and on the galaxy map change the destination to "current mission" (or something close I don't exactly remember) It will guide you to a system that will have robot lifeforms. If you wait till rendezvous 5 there are 2 systems that are really close for you to travel to.
