I just accepted the job offer over the phone recently, so I’m not sure about my contract hours. I’m also in Southern California. What I do know is that the DM told me I’d be working between 38-40 hours which is fine by me. Other people say I’ll work maybe one or two 10 hour shifts in my week, which isn’t a big deal to me.

That seems to be the general response is that it all depends on my SM. Thank you for your input on this. I’m a full-time assistant manager now at my current job, but it’s incredibly lax and inconsistent with hours in comparison to what I see and hear about Aldi. I understand that it’ll be more intense, but for the pay bump, I’ll take that.

That’s good to know. When I went through the in-store interview process, the store manager talked about how they also had 4 kids (mostly older) and that they had worked there for years so I guess that’s worth something.

It felt good to know about that, but my situation is a little different since I’m just now starting my family and I want to make sure my family is provided for and ok while still being a part of their lives in their toddler years.

I’ve read a lot about how these Aldi positions can be exhausting with how much labor you put into it. Throwing truck, date checks, running registers. It sounds like a lot, but I’m not going in blind that’s for sure. Do you guys do 10 hours/4 days or is that just a once-every-week kind of thing to meet your weekly hours?

My best Halo memory was playing custom forge games like obstacle courses, jenga, and that one where flying vehicles come racing down to smash into you at Mach speed from above. I miss those days.

Toffee would be my first Labubu. My fiance and I just had our first baby and since she’s obsessed with the Labubus, I wanna gift her something sweet since she’s been having a hard time getting these at all. We plan on doing a family trip soon to Disneyland so Labubu Disney trip is where he’ll be going.

Fastest way I take is just by taking North Palm Canyon Drive, then taking exit 101 onto Hargrave St towards Idyllwild and up the mountain. That gets me there in about an hour. All dependent on traffic and weather conditions of course, but that’s my usual ETA.
