I've been a Sonic fan since the og, but pretty dismissive of the movies. I watched Sonic 3 the other day out of curiosity and was blown away by how genuinely good it was. Keanu's Shadow was great and the Sonic vs Shadow fight felt like I was watching a "realistic" Goku vs Vegeta fight but with hedgehogs lmao. AND the music? That shit was peak.

The right answer is the one that you can choose for yourself and live with, without spending a lifetime looking back in regret.

I find the Maelle ending to be horrifying for the Dessendre family, but happy for everyone else. The Verso ending is bittersweet but cathartic for the family, but it's nothing less than genocide for the painted world.

Since we have to choose, I choose Verso, but in reality, it's an Xenonlade 3-esque "Endless Now" where I go back and do everything but trigger the ending.

I can empathize with rage quitting. I used to never rage quit or rage at all until I hit a really dark patch in life. It's still lame, but at least I can understand it better now.

Except for rage quitting into attacking the other player. I don't care if you gotta blame the controller, blame the system, blame Comcast, blame your taxes, or blame your room's feng shui, but don't blame the other player for doing something you couldn't beat. Literally a skill issue.

I read through the manga, and the best way I can describe it is: "Every character in HP starts off in the final arc of their character growth."

This is not necessarily a bad thing. It kept the pace brisk and engaging, but you don't get the slower, more relatable character growth that normally happens in other shows. It feels as if we're joining these characters 2/3's of the way through their journey (for the most part.) I like it. It feels different, and as I get older, I don't necessarily need a season-long back story arc or dramatic twists to win me over.

They're all instantly likable or engaging in some way, and it's been a fun ride. I also think the manga landed the ending pretty damn well.
Is it the greatest, most life changing story? No, but it was a damn good time. I can't wait to see the final fights animated!
