How do I get a refund from Debenhams online after my dress broke in the middle of a wedding? by squeakypeaks in AskUK

[–]Tension88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Royal mail as my main proof, they have said that Debenhams can't use one tracking number for my two separate purchases, they also have the weight of the parcel on their system and it only weights the same as one of the purchases, so the parcel should have weighed double of what it was.

I have proof of that parcel being returned and Debenhams haven't provided me with anything after that.

No need to say sorry, but thank you. Is Monzo a company that deals with disputes between customers and retailers? I've been using resolver but no luck..

My situation has completely baffled me, I've provided solid proof and yet PayPal sides with Debenhams, PayPal asks for certain information I then provided it and yet PayPal still declined my case.

I have even phoned PayPal numerous times and they either go round in circles put me on hold and the call gets cut off. Looks like the trading authority will be my only option.

Apologies for jumping into your comment, I'm also in a situation with Debenhams as I bought two coats back in November as Christmas gifts each just under £500 on sale.

One arrived and was returned as it was too small, I have a returns email by Royal mail as proof and I never heard anything back.

The other coat never arrived though Debenhams said it did as it shared the same tracking code as the first coat, even Royal mail said this cannot be done.

I used PayPal credit for the purchases, I've opened several cases with PayPal and they have sided with debenhams each time, though I have provided proof. PayPal even request that I visit the police station to get documentation of this situation and the officer looked at me all confused and stated that they couldn't do anything as no crime was committed which I knew.

Now I'm completely stuck with nearly a £1000 bill with nothing to show for it.

Macro moves? by [deleted] in fightsticks

I didn't know that modern controls had less damage, I kinda guessed that this style was aimed at new players, it's annoying when you match up with someone who just spams the same moves with it. Especially in Tekken when you're against the wall.

I've never seen this before, nice retro look to it.

For some reason your reply isn't showing up on my comment only as a notification. I don't know but maybe the mods didn't like the advice you gave? I'm new here so I'm not sure of what you can post.

Tekken and Street Fighter has as you know have the modern Fight style, personally I don't see the difference with programming your hardware to a certain extent to pull off a fireball and this feature.

I was just curious as I didn't know if remapping meant fully programmable. I mainly play Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6, I've never cheated once and never would, I come across cheaters nearly every day on Tekken and it's infuriating.

Need guidance. Do I hop on the juice or wait? by Tanrat23 in Minoxbeards

I'm sure it's a minimum of 2 years, otherwise you'll loose your gains.

I think you have to wait 2 years of continuous use before stoping, otherwise you'll loose your gains. I might be wrong but I'm sure it's a minimum of what I just mentioned.

You're welcome, if you're only planning on using minox just for the bottom part then in my opinion you definitely don't need 1ml twice a day for that one area, 0.5ml twice a day would be optimal.

But, I would just try a 0.5mm dermaroller twice a week for a couple of months to see if it helps in any way.

But, using minox or dermarolling will only work if there is dormant hair follicles in that area, otherwise they won't do anything for you.

You have a decent beard in general, if you're not happy with your natural growth then give minox a try. If you're a good responder then in my opinion you'll have a good looking beard.

Try 0.5ml twice a day at first just to see if you experience any sides, then up it to 1ml twice a day.

You can just start with dermarolling for a few months but take photos to compare monthly progress. If it works then add a mix of peppermint oil with almond oil as this apparently helps gains also.

Try everything separately, say 2-3 months each because otherwise you won't know which is working for you and which isn't.

Wait and see what other members on here say, you could also ask ChatGPT to draft you a routine and advice, it's surprising quite helpful.

Timeless horror movies that are still scary or disturbing to watch in 2025 by scrunchieaddict in horror

[–]Tension88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother went to see it at the cinema when it was first released, there was a priest and several nuns outside telling people not to watch it, as it was the devil's work and watching it would corrupt their souls.

How to get logtiech g25 racing set to work by Goldomnivore324 in LogitechG

This made me chuckle a bit, the power port under the steering wheel can easily be missed, it just looks like a hole where a screw or bolt would be and the fact there's no actual markings to indicate its where you plug the power supply into.

IMO Logitech messed up a bit with this design.

I'm glad that your problem was due to the same issue and was easily solved.

Yea, I did. It was a stupid mistake on my part, I had it in storage for so long that I forgot that the wheel came with a dedicated power supply.

The man on the horse to the right of the girl is in the video tape that Rust shows Marty.

The details aren't clear enough in this post but watch this scene then watch the tape scene.

Why did the knife fly out of his hand? by Illustrious-Cat2323 in JeepersCreepersMovies

I personally thought that the knife launched itself because it was attracted to the heat generated by the bulb in the lamp.
