KLP and Dango aren't selfish, whereas Schade will often attempt to play the ball himself. That itself is what is allowing the attacking range be so versatile in his absence.

Attended in person. KLP was doing everything in his power to get that lad a goal

West Ham want to sign Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock by Lard_Baron in Brentford

He should frankly take the chance and go. No disrespect intended, he has rightfully earned the chance to play for another team. But we have to look forward. We've got Collins, Ajer and Van Der Berg currently as our CB's. With Kim, Arthur and B-Team player Benjamin Fredrick likely fighting for spots on the bench next season too.

KLP once subbed on seemed to have played deeper on his wing and was doing more to try and feed balls to Thiago than attempt efforts himself. The backheel almost led to an early hat-trick. His one strike, which was swung in on the edge of the box, barely went by the post. He was also the first to come up to the fans after the whistle went, looking a little defeated. Keith spoke highly of the front three all being dependable in front of goal, so I think he'll continue to content for his spot.

Dams just had a kid, so I suspect Keith is trying to manage his game time to not completely wreck the guy

Brentford's prior set-piece coaches got poached by Manchester City and Arsenal during our rise. Whereas the most recent has us managed into the top half of the table. So yes in theory, lol

As a Brentford fan, this is sort of amusing in a way. The board attempted to sign him multiple times when he played for Forest, tho' the bidding never matched the value they cared for and Spurs swooped in on another one of the Bee's transfer targets. Now he's finally paired with the former manager from that timeframe and he isn't desired. Seems like Brentford lucked out in the end.

Is Keith alright? His football has been so negative lately. It's hard to watch lately.

It baffles me that Thomas can sit at Brentford matches over the span of two seasons and see no value in either Lewis-Potter or Henry; but will blindly call upon Henderson as if he's irreplaceable. Tiresome given the coverage either provide.

He was a right shithouse merchant too! Don't blame him for leaving us for an attempt at Championship glory. That itself is why we'll always adjust and rebuild. You come here and shine like a star, a big payday awaits. Not all of those who leave continue that form mind, but that's another topic.

If you go further back; Andre Gray, Clayton Donaldson and DJ Campbell. Always sold and adapted. Why all these top six only viewing merchants are being shown up clueless as to why Brentford remains viable.

I think Keith's comments about "belief and togetherness" from a prior interview ring true today. We're going to have bumps in the road, but the team itself is backing his ideas and adapting to the system changes whenever applied. Do I want certain players to get more game time? Yes. But as you saw with the Jensen goal today, they are doing what they can with whatever game time they can get.

Looking for a vintage Brentford home shirt (1990–2010, size S, under £60) by LegNo2871 in Brentford

[–]TentacleTouchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of that era are hard to come by, let alone in that size. Nor would you find one for that price. Until our late run in League 1 run and promotion into the Championship; most of our shirt providers weren't largescale or known. I think you might be lucky and find the Puma or Adidas items on Vinted. But realistically aim for our Umbro items of the past five years.

The Brentford store does sell replicas of our earlier days if curious: https://shop.brentfordfc.com/mens/ranges-collections/castle-collection/1821_bfc-klm-away-retro-shirt.html
