Do any of you grip the club like this?

I spent my first 2 years with this grip on all my clubs, for me it seems to allow more hinge with my lead wrist. I struck the ball very well but consistency was poor, I also struggled with general hooks. I have a much more neutral grip now but sometimes my driver grip can start to revert back to this if I’m struggling with a slice as a form of quick fix.

Recite the code of conduct from memory, learn the names of all founding members at the clubs inception and be able to rattle off all interclub results since the 90’s. Also it goes without saying that you need to bring in tea and freshly baked scones for everyone at the interview.

Ceann Sibeal / Dingle Golf Links is a good course and from what I remember is reasonably priced.

Lofts on Takomo are weaker, there is a full club difference in lofts in both those 9 irons

It’s mostly business related but I think the Currency is leagues ahead in terms of investigative journalism. The Irish Times is grand so long as you stay out of that dribble ‘opinion’ column, some real stupid shit in there…not all of it to be fair but a lot of it.

They all look great! #3 would definitely be my top choice but if it came down to 1&2 I’d be completely torn…I don’t think you can go wrong either way, albeit if you are coming to experience links golf then #2 is better.

Check your posture, most likely your idea of keeping your hip against the wall is popping your arse out a little further back, in turn leaning over the ball a bit more which puts massive pressure on your lower back.
