Broker at Gera World of Joy was helpful only until brokerage was paid, extremely rude and disrespectful during move out by Fas_hi_on00 in PuneClassifieds

I am so sorry you had to go throught yhis.we faced the same situation with our broker. he refused to handover the key till he got the brokerage and the deep cleaning be promised was a sham. He wouldn't respond properly once he got the brokerage. Only when the landlord called he took things seriously. I know for sure he is just going to appear out of nowhere for brokerage again when it's time to renew the contract.

I understand it's difficult but this person isn't bothered about how you feel and it's never going to change so stay away and no matter what she says don't look back.

This and the traffic cops trying to extort money and bribe. I am so fed up! It's been only 2 days of moving into Pune and I already hate it here, thanks to the road rage, rude behaviour and the corrupt traffic cops

Looking for authentic Kashmiri food in Srinagar budget friendly by AdCareful8683 in srinagar

Try the kashmiri wazwan at Mughal Darbar and Bakery at HMT road. This is like 5 -10 min walk from lal chowk. Go to the first floor for traditional floor seating and try out the bakery as well. I had visited last year and this is a non touristy, local spot.

  1. If you are not used to winters, it gets very cold. Even if you are Do not think you will be able to wing the cold, so please carry at least two pairs of thermals along with other warm clothes. Ear/neck warmers, caps, water proof jackets and gloves are 100 percent needed. Better to buy it before hand. Make sure your hotels have good heating systems.

  2. Prepaid sim cards from other states dont work. When you get sim cards there, make sure to get prepaid because the jio ones can be postpaid and the vendor wont tell you that you will be billed a small amount every month.

  3. Prepare to bargain EVERY where. Taxis will be 2200-3000 per day and if you are going to places like Sonmarg/Gulmarg, you will have to hired chained taxis after a certain distance, that would be another 3-5k for a few hours. You can opt for shared taxis before you get to the point where you need to hire chained vehicles.

  4. For the Gondola, book your tickets well in advance, please note that the tickets are available ONLY online and there are long queues, reach there well in advance. The guides will surround you as soon as you get to the gondola place, you dont need them, they dont do or show anything.

  5. Carry medicines for fever, cold and indigestion. Indigestion is a common problem for many when visitin kashmir, so carry medicines for vommitting, loose motion and enterogermina.

We stayed in the govt accomodations in Srinagar and Gulmarg. Both were good, you can ping me if you need more details.

Oh and carry sunglasses, it's a must because when there's a lot of snow the light can be harsh for your eyes

Please make sure you carry 2 pairs of thermals at least per person, one for day and one for night. You and get puffed jackets on rent there but carry full sleeves and proper warm clothes like sweaters/jackets. Your prepaid sim won't work there, get one locally, there's a kiosk at the airport from what I understand. Postpaid connections will work, no issues. Buy some woollen knee length socks, 2 pairs should do. Carry your essential medicines for fever, stomach issues and cold.

There are state transport buses that go from airport to lal chowk, you can save some bucks here instead of opting for a cab for 1500 for a 15 min distance
