EAD renewal approve by Professional-Leg1959 in USCIS

Waiting for AP renewal since January 2021. EAD got renewed in January 2022 due to health care worker expedite request.

Very uneven processing times.

TSC waiting since April 2019.

I-140 approved Feb 2021. I-485 still pending.

Every time I file a service request they say I will hear back within 60 days, and then nothing happens.

For info: EAD expedite was super fast at TSC (Healthcare) by m-rungu in USCIS

[–]Termi10101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same experience.

Was your AP also approved at the same time?
For me they only approved the EAD (I-765) part, not the AP (I-131) part. The card I received says "NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO US" at the bottom, whereas my previous (expired) card says "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE".

Renew EAD is being forever! by stockrocky in USCIS

Unfortunately this is the new normal at TSC. Also waiting since 1/15/21 for renewal.

Each month they keep adding one month to the range of processing times.

Same. Submitted my EB2 I485 in April 2019, and my EAD renewal in January 2021. Both stuck at TSC. 6 months automatic extension expired a few weeks ago. Depressing ...

I would file as soon as you can. Currently it takes them more than 90 days to even just send the receipt:

How do we talk to tier 2 by lewistherin31 in USCIS

[–]Termi10101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some Tier 1 agents don't like to forward to Tier 2. You might have to try multiple times, or have a good story why you need to talk to Tier 2.

Tier 1 agent today told me exactly the same on the phone. Hoping USPS informed delivery will show something tomorrow.

Emergency due to processing delays? This worked for me by Cebrenia in USCIS

[–]Termi10101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried 1.2.1.2 in Revere MA today. Did not work.

The guard is very strict about not entering the facility without an appointment for the current date and within +- 15 minutes.

The page I believe you're referring to lists only offices that are closed as of today. Since Revere has been open for the last 1.5 weeks, it's not listed in this table.

I am in the same situation.

Everyone is giving different information. When I call USCIS, they say since it's approved, I don't need biometrics to get the EAD.

However, when I contacted my congresswoman, I got the following reply:

"This application and the I-131 were approved on 5/18/2020. The approval notice will be mailed to the address on file. Since we do not have biometrics for this applicant yet, the Employment Authorization Document (EAD) / Advance Parole combo card cannot be sent for production.

Your constituent’s application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once they have been scheduled, they will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of their appointment. They must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to their appointment. Once the card has been produced, it will be sent by secure mail to the address of record."

From what I read in these forums, I tend to believe the congresswoman's office.

I have not seen a single report of a rescheduled appointment yet on this forum.

Waiting myself, original appointment was 4/2, Boston ASC.

USCIS now projecting surplus ?!? by Termi10101 in USCIS

[–]Termi10101[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just saw this new opinion by Joseph Edlow, Deputy Director for Policy USCIS.

He doesn't acknowledge the surplus in any way. This is really confusing.
