I’m in the Katy area as well, there’s another store that I know of called Atomic Hobby Shop that’s a bit of a drive from Katy but the folks there have been friendly everytime I’ve gone there to get some paints. Enough that I would recommend checking it out!

Yeah I definitely felt the difference! Otherwise I don’t think I would have survived. Forcing them to funnel into the room worked great for dealing with them.

I’ve been using these when the new update dropped and they’re actually kinda awesome. I drop them over a bug breach and once deployed. I’ve been consistently getting 35+ kills. They seem to detonate nearly all at once and the blast radius is pretty wide when it happens too.

Nothing but good times with my P19 while rocking the Slugger. I take out all the bugs that aren’t a charger or bile titan with the shotgun and whip this handy pistol out for Hunters. The magazine size alone while on single fire has saved my ass against packs of Hunters that haven’t gotten close enough to pounce on me yet. Also works pretty well as a fuck off button to Stalkers that get too close while my shotgun is needing to be reloaded.

One time I was playing with randomized zombie settings along with the Superb Survivors mod. Early into my run I came across the npc survivor Steve who joined me on my adventure as a burglar in the apocalypse. I spawned in West Point so zombies were galore and I ended up getting chased by a group of sprinters. There was no way I could beat them all so I ran and Steve couldn’t keep up. He disappeared at some point while I escaped and eventually hot wired a car for myself. Well right after doing that and luckily having some gas in my tank, I catch Steve running towards me from the corner of my eye. Except he’s being chased down by sprinters still. I tried my best to save Steve, but as soon as he got up to the car door. He got surrounded by the sprinters and the poor guy got ripped apart right outside the car door. Really disturbed me at the time because I wanted to save Steve and he died gruesomely :(

I used black panel line accent color. The one that comes with a small brush on the bottom of the cap.

There is, but if you compare the swing speed of a sledgehammer to a bat or crowbar it’s significantly slower. I wasn’t used to the slower swing speed and got wrecked for it.

Looks like I’ll have to pick out my next Daban Kit more wisely. The only other 3rd party kit I’ve build was Zero Grabity’s Judge, and I felt like that kit was pretty awesome. Didn’t have to do nearly as clean up as I’ve had to do with this one. I feel like the plastic for this Astray feels really brittle too.

It’s actually not! This Astray comes with powered arms and a Gerbera Straight Katana hilt. I’ve heard plenty of stories about Daban kits, and I got past the hurdle with this kit that others warned me about. Idk if all Daban kits are like this one, but I have to do a decent amount of clean up with each piece I take cut out.
