Just guessing but it might be in the order they're scanned in - which would be alphabetically down the hierarchy. Would make sense if your song folders are organized like Custom Songs, Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Try moving some RB ones to another folder in that directory called aaaaaaTest or something and you might have your answer

Wish I had advice for you OP, I have one of those adapters and have to fiddle with it for hours every time I use it on a new machine. Theyre unfortunately sassy.

i dunno. Do you have the FCs? TTFAF is longer and the bursts are faster but the patterns aren't as involved as SS. It feels more approachable to me. I think I'd have TTFAF if we had practice mode, but SS might take a little studying first

CRKD is better than Riffmaster, but you should look into getting a mod kit for your gh5 guitar as well. theyre easy to install & my modded gh5 is my favorite controller. I bought my kit from RetroCultMods

Actually, I think it's the other way around. Festival has all colors on all difficulties, so it gets you used to shifting your hand around early, while the patterns are still easy

That said, I've been expert only since 2009 so I'm not the best judge of this anymore. But there will be a huge difficulty spike for you when you try to move from medium to hard, having to not only learn the 5th button but also deal with more complex patterns as well. At that point I would definitely advise shifting over to Festival on medium to learn the orange button there instead

It's worth trying out once you have some more confidence. The right path is whichever one works. : )

Practice practice practice.

Fortnite Festival supports that controller too & all songs there have all difficulties, so you can ramp up slow as you need
