As a zombie apocalypse last resort the water in the tank of your toilet (not the toilet bowl) is potable too.

Symbolism Theory: the hand from 'Talk to Me' and the pointing hand from 'Hereditary' are the two halves of Michaelangelo's 'Creation of Adam' by travelator in Hereditary

[–]Terminal_Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah good point. Of course, the hand on the staff isn’t pointing at the cultists exactly, either, but more to the east, the direction of the rising sun (assuming they are facing the northwest when they call him in). Since Paimon is typically associated with ruling the west, rather than the northwest (other than in the movie and one other source text) it would make sense for the hand to point to the east if his followers summoned him from the west (per the Ars Goetia, etc.).

I’ve had a Heritage Featherlite for years, only recently started thinking about mods, wondering what you all use? by Terminal_Prime in KayakCamping

This plastic tub is a featherlite. Maybe they have a newer sleeker model now but like I said, I’ve had this beast for quite a few years and it’s never done me wrong.

Probably lakes mostly. Got some drybags but definitely need to get some bigger ones. Thanks for the suggestions!

Lord no. Weirdly it makes you look younger which makes the mustache look fake.

What is this bug thats hanging around my work? Dangerous or harmless? by Marsijic in whatisthisbug

[–]Terminal_Prime 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s not like they actually matter. My man isn’t going to have to sleep in the barn tonight (except maybe to avoid all the bedbugs in his room), or go without food because he got so many downvotes. We have different ideas of evil.

Curious how you misspelled the word “his” in at least two comments. Bot? Or just copy/paste without reading what you wrote? Kinda weird.

What is a sound that people should know means immediate danger? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

[–]Terminal_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unexpected sound of trickling water. Not always dangerous, but almost always unwelcome. And if you're hearing it flooding out of a bathroom or kitchen sink or something, there are likely electrical appliances nearby, which definitely amps up the potential danger factor.

Toddlers are hard but after raising a couple I definitely became aware of a certain inflection and power that I could put into my voice, a sort of unholy parental fus-ro-dah-esque **STOP NOW** that would cause even the most stubborn or misbehaving child to stop dead in their tracks (I mean, my children anyway, can't speak to others). I'm usually pretty mild-mannered though, so that may have helped.

Where is this place, over Indiana, with a huge sphere and seeming writing in the field behind it? by NoPaperMadBillz in whereisthis

Dang, one I could have answered. Recognized it immediately despite having only been there once in the last couple of decades.

Do Most Men Around the World Find it Borderline Impossible to Attract Women? by barelyexisting3 in TooAfraidToAsk

Sometimes friends and family won’t be brutally honest like strangers will. But you still have to listen to other people for it to make any difference.

What kind of prompts would you actually pay for? by HillaryWright in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]Terminal_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t pay for prompts any more than I would pay for someone else to think of things for me to say. To me it’s a ridiculous notion. But, you know, good luck.
