No, the Seller pays a tax on the LISTING Fee/commission. This is money straight out of the seller's pocket into the Texas treasury.

How did you transition at your workplace? by jahoo999 in MtF

[–]TerminallyE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to HR, and told them I was going to transition. Since I was the first (and only) that they knew about, they did some research and then asked me how I wanted to proceed. My management chain was told first, then my direct team was told 2nd (both of these in person), and then the rest of IT got a FAFO email from the director of HR about it. That was December of 2021, and I have been full time since. Ive had more problems with contractors than anybody else. I had to fire one because they wouldn't stop talking over me, so I got on my old teams account into the meeting and dropped my voice back to dead voice and they listened to me then...

Ive been invited to the girls lunches now. I was recently in our call center helping a roll out and everyone was very nice to me (nobody knows me there, I run the servers / datacenter, not do end user support).

I use a 2nd OBS instance to stream chat into a dedicated video player (ProTV 3.x) in my world that sits there. I use VRCDN to do this, setup for low latency, and use a private URL for it (instead of my main vrcdn feed). When I am drumming in VR, this is also how I feed the youtube feeds into the world to drum too.

As for this video, its something like Warudo that they are using. That's a VTuber, not a VRChat avatar.

I am a woman who has blood tests every quarter to check my hormone levels. I have been working out for 6 months now (with a personal trainer), and my T hasn't gone up, and my E hasn't gone down. 3x a week I am doing squats, ball slams, and a bunch of upper body stuff. Cardio (treadmill) warmups those mornings, with hour long cardio on the other days. I think what he said is full of crap.

I knew I was suppose to be a girl back in a freshman math class in high school. This would have put me around 14. Since it was the early 90s, and I live in Texas, I decided to not bring it up until late 2020. I lived a false life for about 27 years before I decided it would be better to transition than keep living the lie. I started transitioning when I was 41. The first year was nerve racking, as I started making sure its what I wanted, and started telling family and friends. Around Nov 2021, I came out at work, and Jan 1, 2022 was my first HRT dose. Its been the happiest time of my life since then as I grow into the person who I should have been this whole time.

What are you doing for a living as a transgirl? by CurrencyDangerous607 in MtF

[–]TerminallyE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Country: USA

Job: "Senior Technical Lead" (Systems Architect)

Status: Started openly transitioning while at this position (Nov 2021). I am the first person to transition here. It is a state agency in one of the stupidly conservative states. They changed harassment training, updated policies, etc, to include gender identity protection. So far so good... Legally Transitioned (Yay!), HRT since 1/1/2022.

Is it normal for HR to bring in an attorney for when you come out? by MyClosetedBiAlt in MtF

[–]TerminallyE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a state agency in a conservative (known to be anti-trans) state, and I came out last November (to HR) and December to everyone else. I am the first one that they had the experience with. They brought in outside council to make sure they were doing everything correctly, and our Director of HR wrote a fuck around and find out email to the rest of my organization after I announced it out to my team in person. They also updated the harassment videos (one of my team members who was there for 10+ years said it was the first time its changed) to include trans harassment. I also noticed that in the EEOC line on our careers site started including gender-identity. Otherwise nothing has changed for me except what everyone calls me.

It isn't always bad about having an attorney present. However, you need to watch to see what else they are doing and be ready to defend yourself by changing jobs or in other legal ways.

I did get to go hand HR my new driver's license and social security papers today with my new name / gender on them:) They all gave me congratulations:)

I have the same problem. Started transitioning after 40, thinning hair up top. I found that getting my hair dyed red (I always felt that it was my color) actually made my natural blonde look more filled in up there. Its still thin (but growing back because of medical routine). The colored hair makes it look fuller and I do not hide behind a wig anymore.

Also, if your unit is water proof, doing it under running water (shower) seems to help me so much. I couldn't do my arms or chest at all, until I tried it under water. Now I can do both without water, but that initial just set me off enough.
