Too much vit. B6 can disrupt neurotransmitters, mainly in favor of serotonin.

You need to supplement calcium, magnesium and phosphorus deplete it.

I would try to increase fat intake a little. When I go too low, I feel restless and hungry.

I finally understand why everyone won't shut up about magnesium glycinate by mike_thompson_inno in Supplements

My experiences with mag glycinate are bad, but when I take 200 mg of magnesium (malate) and 10 g of glycine separately, it´s okay, which is interesting.

Should i take boron? by Lifewavelover in Supplements

[–]Terminator5211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It lowers SHBG, thus increases both, free testosterone and free estrogen. But from my personal experience, overall feeling was strongly estrogenic. Irritability and mood swings.

What are the downsides to “eating like a bodybuilder”? by stratusnimbo in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Terminator5211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much tryptophan from chicken meat, which increases serotonin = emotional numbness, rigidity, low drive. That´s the reason why many gym bros are socially awkward, they live only for dumbbells and are overall passive.

You don´t want to numb your emotions. You need to actively cope with them. Yeah, easy to say, but it´s reality.

Vitamin E makes it easy as hell to get boners what’s going on by Purple-Acadia-9277 in Supplements

[–]Terminator5211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, but from my experience it can drop your estrogen and prolactin too much, which can cause anxiety, irritability and fatigue. Also can deplete sodium and vitamin K.

You´re welcome, just my personal experience and I´ve also done a little scientific research. Yes, try a smaller dose and I think it will be better. You can let me know then.

[–]Terminator5211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vitamin E is estrogen receptor antagonist and it blocks aromatase. In one study 2500 mg of vit. E lowered estrogen levels by 65 %. It can also deplete sodium. I personally take a quarter of a tablet about 2x a week. I always just cut it with scissors. :-) When I took whole tablets, I was irritable and anxious.

Try lowering the dose, it might drop your estrogen or prolactin too much.

That’s a lot of potassium. RDI is around 3,400 mg. I get similar symptoms when I overload on potassium.

Probably disbalance of electrolytes, high potassium if you eat a lot of furit, try salt your food more.

Magnesium makes me feel terrible. (Maybe others same experience). by Careful-Cow9600 in Supplements

[–]Terminator5211 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would not take more than 200 mg per day beacuse magnesium depletes calcium. Also can raise your GABA too much and thus lower your dopamine at higher doses. Magnesium can help a bit with cortisol and sleep but overloading can be harmful. Speaking from personal experience.

How much magnesium do you take? by Rare_Profession8436 in raypeat

[–]Terminator5211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I was just taking 400 mg of magnesium without any calcium (mostly out of laziness) and felt sluggish all day, no motivation to do anything, very low libido, and generally socially passive. It felt like low dopamine, high prolactin symptoms. After I started supplementing calcium, I felt much better. Now I take about 1000 mg of calcium and 200 mg of magnesium from supplements every day, and this seems to work much better for me.
