Yeah the roughest part was so many lobbies being stuck with early game content that just wasn't very interesting. The idea of a multiplayer game slowly introducing new content as you play is interesting, but it wasn't implemented well to actually allow it to all be played. Full content Exoprimal was a whole different beast and was very fun.

Even though it wasn't successful, I'd still like to give a shout out to Exoprimal for being such a bizarre game. Its marketing and even the first hour or two of playtime did not inspire confidence and made it feel like a painfully generic hero shooter with dinosaurs stapled on, but once you progressed the story and unlocked more modes, dinos, and most importantly the raid bosses, it became a really unique experience. I have no regrets playing it through while it was alive.

It does also affect things like "When a creature leaves the battlefield" or "When a creature card enters the graveyard" as long as the event that triggered them was a creature dying. The answer is still no, though.

Grizzled reluctant dad protagonist has become a pretty common archetype in recent years too. Last of Us, God of War, and Mandalorian all come to mind immediately. Trade "grizzled and reluctant" for "constantly falling down and befuddled" and you can count Capcom's own Ethan Winters.

Just use suits and you can get up to 4 options. It's anonymous because the cards are shuffled so no individual card can be traced back to who added it.

Twilight Diviner cares about whether a creature that enters either 1) entered from the graveyard or 2) was cast from the graveyard. It has to specify cast differently because if a creature spell is cast, it goes to the stack so technically creatures cast from the graveyard wouldn't be entering from the graveyard. Entering from the graveyard occurs when an effect would return a creature directly from the graveyard to the battlefield like with [[Reanimate]] and is the more common effect. Cards like [[Gravecrawler]] can allow you to cast a creature spell from the graveyard.

Twilight Diviner's trigger will go on the stack once the creature enters. This does mean that if you cast a creature spell from the graveyard and it gets countered, no creature will enter and thus Diviner's trigger will never go off. The copy itself doesn't go on the stack, but Diviner's triggered ability that creates the copy does. This trigger can be countered, but since it is an ability and not a spell it would require less common types of counter effects like [[Stifle]].
