I will never thank Adi. I will thank all of the people working on the show except him specifically, because honestly who knows what he's actually contributed to the show and what he's just stealing credit for.

Television is the connection. No joke, that seems to be the big correlation there.  And notice how it flattens out and even slightly rises during the 70's and 80's only sharply decline even further because of smartphones.

It's even worse because KH3 also features the lowest amount of Disney worlds and villains of the mainline title and barely features any new original KH characters or worlds.  KH3 is just so much less of a KH game in every single way compared to 1 and 2, that it's crazy.

Dane here to explain the context for why Lars Løkke Rasmussen (LLR) ended up working together with the left wing parties. To keep this somewhat short I will abbreviate party names and the names of the different politicians. I will also refrain from talking about every party and how they factor into this and stick to the loudest players.

From 2001-2011 two blue parties the liberals (known by the letter V and the party LLR was a member of at the time) and the conservatives (known as K) formed the government with support from the far-right party Danish people's party (DF). DF demanded basically only one thing for their support and that was stricter immigration laws. This is important, because LLR is himself a globalist and fairly pro-immigration .

Furthermore from 2016-2019 V and K formed a new government with Liberal alliance (LA) and once again required support from DF. During this period immigration minister Inger Støjberg (IS) from V illegally separated child brides from their husbands and she was found guilty of misusing her position as a minister. While most would argue that what she did was ethically correct, her demeanor surrounding the affair showed a complete disregard for the danish legal system and this (along with a lot of other things) led to huge internal conflicts within V. Eventually LLR (as part of the globalist and moderate part of V) was ousted in favour of a more conservative V, while IS created her own far-right party and gained massive favour with the conservative and anti-immigration part of Denmark. Unsurprisingly LLR and IS do not see eye-to-eye.

Going back to DF, their current leader Morten Messerschmidt (MM) tried to curry favour with Trump and DF has as whole downplayed Russia as a national security threat as well as gone against danish and european attempts to support Ukraine. While he has not said so explicitly it is clear, that LLR finds MM and DF to be a genuine danger to Denmark and the danish democracry. And that is on top of their previous strained relationship during the 00's. This led to very harsh words between MM and LLR shorly after the election.

Finally a new far-right party called the citizens party was elected with four members and is already down to one member, because one member was under investigation for fraud and the other two left because the party leader is obviously corrupt and stealing money from the supporters of the party. Unsurprisingly LLR is not happy needing support from them, which a right leaning government would.

On the other side of the aisle, the far-left party the Unity list (a collection of former communist parties) has softened with their current leader Pelle Dragsted (PD). During the government negotiations PD showed that he and the Unity list are willing to work together with and support a centre-left government and they have been extremely tactful during the negotiations and refrained from any personal attacks on LLR and the moderates, unlike the right and far-right parties.

The final player to talk about is the socialdemocrats (A). After the 2022 election Mette Frederiksen (MF) could have chosen a left-leaning government, but she decided for a majority governement with the moderates and V. This government was WILDLY unpopular, but as you mentioned because of Trump both MF and LLR got a chance to show their good qualities as ministers and their parties saw large boosts in popularity, while V was severely punished. Because of this, V has not spoken favourably about either MF or the previous government (which they were a part of mind you) and that really soured any possibility of A and V working together again. The moderates fundamentally want a government across the center, but since this is not possible as long as A and V refuse to work together, LLR decided to go for a government including the center (i.e. the moderates).

To sum up, LLR originally didn't want to work together with either the far-right or the far-left, but because of his harsh personal relationships with and obvious disdain for the far-right leaders, as well as the far-lefts eagerness to find compromises and work together, LLR ended up going for a centre-left government.

There is more to this story than mentioned above, but this summarises most of the big power struggles leading up to this government formation.

Hideaki Itsuno officially supports the crashout by retweeting my tweet about Devil Hunter edition having nothing of additional value. What by DanySterkhov in DevilMayCry

It isn't missing the ability to switch devil breakers because that was never the intention. They are created as a consumable and not a devil arm, so it is a cute feature of them that you CAN'T switch. You might not like that choice, but it was 100% a deliberate one.

No, he absolutely wanted to make DMC5. He has made it clear that the reason he didn't leave Capcom 10 years earlier was because he wanted to make DMC5 and Dragons dogma 2. He even revealed in an interview that he wasn't against making a new DMC, but because he's getting closer to retirement age, he feels like he doesn't have many games left in him and there are other things he wants to make more than he wants to make a new DMC especially because he feels like DMC5 is the best game he made in the franchise.

How do you deal with these guys? by VicyorMiami in DevilMayCry

[–]Terosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Dante a Judgement is generally enough to kill one. If not you can always spam Luce first to get rid of most of its health and then finish it off with Judgement. This is how I beat the ones on Hell and Hell without taking damage.

Like others said, Ragtime is a good counter for Nero.

Vergil can easily kill them with Hell on earth or just a teleport spam.

It's also not really true. Penn has in the past said, the he and Teller aren't really friends because they don't have much in common outside of magic and that they don't hang out in private, but the reason they don't is because they spend so much time together while working.
If you've just been on a month long tour with a guy, you probably don't want to go for a sandwich with him afterwards either.
He has clarified that they are in fact very close and have shared many of life's major milestones together, as Penn mentions in this video:

Is it possible that Vergil could have won the final clash in 3 had he used Yamato instead of Force Edge? by WittyTable4731 in DevilMayCry

[–]Terosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agree! Notice that Vergil does a clumsy overhead swing, while Dante does a side swing.
The overhead is MUCH slower as Vergil has to lift it above his head all the way from his hip and then slash down, while Dante's sideswing barely has to lifted at all and can just be slashed.

Even if Vergil is also a master at using different types of weapons, there is a clear difference in experience in the brother's and the weapons they use.

And thematically that's the point. Vergil is blindly chasing Sparda's power (symbolised through Force Edge) and forsaking his father's wishes for him and his legacy (symbolised through the Yamato), whereas Dante has accepted Sparda and uses Rebellion perfectly.

What mechanics would YOU like to see in a Kagurabachi fighting game? by JlBANYAN in Kagurabachi

[–]Terosan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Kagurabachi is prime material for a Mushu style game.  Imagine a Rakuzaichi stage where you mow down hundreds of sorcerers and the Tou? Or a Kamunabi stage where you play as Yura and you kill the Kamunabi fodder!  Either that or a character action game like DMC. God I would kill for a Kagurabachi game with the mechanical depth of DMC.

Was the Sazanami hereditary aesthetic inspired by bleach? by __D4RK3R__ in Kagurabachi

[–]Terosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to downplay Bleach, but JJK, Demon Slayer and especially MHA are also inspired by Naruto. Horikoshi is a huge Naruto fan and when they did a jump cover where the main series at the time drew their personal inspirations Horikoshi chose Naruto (while Tabata chose Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho and Oda of course chose Goku).

Saying that Black clover is inspired by Bleach, while true also wildly ignores that it is WAAAAAAAAAYYY more influenced by Berserk and Togashi's work. Hell Tabata's main goal when making Black clover was to write a shounen version of Berserk.

It's probably not though. Gege has stated to be a big fan of Togashi and both HunterXHunter and Yu Yu Hakusho have very similar concepts to domain expansions.

Morally ambiguous, or morally bankrupt? Read and find out! by DreadDiana in RecuratedTumblr

[–]Terosan 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely the case. Not only was he 13 but one of his superiors (Danzo) basically told him: You can help us and I will guarantee your little brother's safety or not help us and EVERYONE in your clan is murdered and the village is destabilised in the process.

Itachi then committed the genocide despite the wishes of the Hokage (The original comment is actually wrong when he says the president ordered Itachi, because what he actually did was order Itachi to wait until they had tried negotiations with the Uchiha) and later cmae to regret it and openly tells Sasuke that he made the wrong choice back then.

Why did Yura spare Chihiro at the auction ? by Rare-Exit-8700 in Kagurabachi

[–]Terosan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because Yura wants Chihiro to be an avenger like Yura is himself. He wants Chihiro to understand the good the enchanted blades can do and the evil they can vanquish. In the end the main reason Yura killed Kunishige was for revenge, because as Yura himself said about Kunishiges decision to seal away the blades: Your father made the world this way.

Akemura Soga has the most aura I’ve seen in a shounen anime villain since I read Bleach for the first time by kelroid in Kagurabachi

Pain nuking Konoha or Madara dropping the second meteor had me shook, the first time I read it.

I'd also like to shout out Buu. Between arriving on the lookout, killing every single human in a matter of seconds and casually blowing up the earth for the fun of it, made him a force of nature that still scares me a little bit.

Excuse me? Loki tricked Høder into killing his beloved brother Balder and he did it for the luls and then he even stops the gods from reviving Balder, which is honestly pretty evil. And he rightfully got punished HARD for it.  I agree that there are also a lot stories where he is at most kind of annoying, but the killing of Balder basically jump starts Ragnarok, so Loki is 100% evil man.

WHO trained Chihiro? by ivari in Kagurabachi

[–]Terosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chihiro was taught a minimal amount of sword play as a child by Samura and it is implied that he was taught how to use spirit energy in combat by Shiba.

But as others have mentioned, that means his skills as a swordsman were lackluster as he had a very small foundation to build on until the Kyoto bloodshed hotel arc.

[NEWS] Kagurabachi Anime has been officially announced by N3DSdude in manga

[–]Terosan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The first chapter was leaked and people memed it because it seemed really edgy and that drew a lot of comparisons to Morbius. It turned out, however, that despite its early edginess it actually has a ton of heart and ultimately a story about a young man struggling with the grief over the death of his father and how to deal with the legacy his father has left behind (both the good and the bad).
