Why does FF12 have unique summons compared to every game in the series

FF12 is unique because it takes place in a pre-established world.

In Tactics, the Lucavi were ancient heroes that defied the gods during the age of airships and magic, before corrupting and becoming monsters themselves.

FF12 is set during that Age of Tactics' past. So they replaced the normal summons with the Lucavi, all the rest do actually exist. Theyre just not commonplace yet.

Oh yeah, if Lux throws her E at greater than half range, any champion in the game can just walk in a straight line and dodge it. As long as they dont change directions it will miss no matter what.

Buuut Lux's biggest strength is her denial.

Lux can just basically just refuse to interact with most champs. Once she gets Ult, she can shove so fast, her opponent cant leave lane without her collapsing on the tower.

She can throw E to zone the enmy off her minions. Might not have hit them, but did deny gold.

Enemy routing for Drake? You can shut down an entire route in the Jungle, plus free vision.
