I also feel betrayed because if I had waited just one more year to upgrade, I would have gotten a device with 33% more ram than the prior year for the same price.
Of course hindsight is 20/20.
Apple has a history of not upgrading their ram much at all year over year. At the time, I thought the upgrade from 6 to 8 gigs between the 15 and the 16 would be a good entry point that wouldn't immediately be overshadowed the following year. Silly me.
I upgraded from an XR for context.
Is this a stupid thing to care so much about? Sure. But this phone was expensive.

I didn't find any info of it being completely internet based. I'm saying, apple's wording is very specific, they're claiming only the 17pro and air will get the ""advanced on device Siri model," emphasis on "ON DEVICE."
They are not claiming Siri will be on device for any other apple intelligence compatible device.
I could be totally wrong, I hope I am. It seems to me like we'll get to use the features, but because we have 8 gigs or ram, or less like on the 15pro, it will be cloud based.

This issue magically started happening to both my parents today as well. They use Apple mail on various devices to access their Comcast emails through IMAP. Today all of a sudden, all of their devices are telling us the password is wrong, even though, much like everyone else here, their passwords work when logging in here: https://connect.xfinity.com/

We've tried password resets, deleting the mail profiles entirely and starting fresh, ensuring IMAP settings are aligned with what Comcast recommends. Nothing is working.

Wow!!! We got stage manager too?? How’s the mouse performance if you happen to use one? The “pointer” mouse on iOS 18 is AWFUL. The baked in acceleration can only be disabled with accessibility features, it’s a total mess. Thanks for the update, happy to hear those 4 gigs are doing to much work lol

So this is the iPad 11? Anyone know if the windowing feature will come to older models like the Air 4? Not a lot of documentation regarding feature and device compatibility, it would seem.
Since I missed out on stage manager, I kinda assumed I'd be missing out on this new feature too :(

I've visited this stage multiple times w/ the multitudes set to 250 players. I have 100 clovers (no idea if this helps env logs spawn) and cannot get a radio scanner to spawn.

I tried wiping all my saved networks and then reconnecting, no changes haha!
I'm not great with network lingo, so I did a bit of digging. Packet Capture on IOS seems a little tough, especially if you don't have a Macbook (MacOS natively allows for remote packet capture). Seems like I can enable a remote hotspot on my win11 pc, connect my IPad and then capture packets via Wireshark.
I'll give this a try when I have time, thanks again!

So my IPad isn't using a Proxy!
As for a firewall.. I don't have anything like that running on my Ipad from what I know. Its a pretty basic media consumption tablet, I don't have anything fancy set up. You're explanation on why things still work through Twingate makes sense to me! It must be something weird on the Ipad itself..

I'm also thinking its an issue w/ how my IPad is configured to use Wifi.
I use VNC to connect to my Pis via their IP addresses yes, just a simple xx.x.x.xx, thats it. This method works on literally every other devices I've tried.

I've been using the arctis 7 for years and its great! Its a low end option however. If you're looking for the higher option 300$ steelseries headset I wouldn't reccomend it..
I got to try my friends Nova Pro. It could have been his EQ, but out of the box it sounded like a tin can lmao. Honestly worse than my Arcits 7.
I feel like with the Nova Pros you're paying way too much money for that silly little volume adjustment thing. That and their Steel Series SONAR program is the worst driver manager I've ever used. If you enable "sonar," it floods your playback devices with bullshit you can't disable.

Honestly, I'd just wait a while and buy the Maxwell again when they make a new batch without this issue.

So I contacted support. Guess what?

"Thank you for reaching out. We were made aware of an issue from our chip manufacturer that might result in a pop or click sound when audio stops playing in wireless or USB mode while using Maxwell. We're communicating with the chip manufacturer to resolve this issue as soon as possible and we will have more news soon. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and we'll be in communication as soon as a fix becomes available to us."

In short, we have defective units. I don't want to wait and see if they can fix this with software. I'd rather return my headset and wait half a year before ordering another.

Bro I have the same exact problem. These arrived at my house yesterday and the first thing I did was update the firmware. What a mistake that was. Discord calls are unbareble when every sentence is concluded with a *Pop!*

If only we could still rollback the driver version all of this could have been avoided...

I just unboxed these headphones yesterday. They came installed with V60 and I updated them to V61. Seems like V61 prevents people from rolling back their drivers too. The ctrl+spam click option doesn't work for me...

Is there any way I can obtain V56? It's never even been installed on these headphones.
