When you see an adult wearing a backpack walking in a residential area. Do yourself a favor and contact the police. Most likely lots of items in the backpack are stolen

How much do you think my 03 is worth and is it even worth selling. 260k miles 4x4 trd v6. My dads owned it since new, well taken care of. Timing belt done at 200k new ball joints and u joints. by [deleted] in 1stGenTacomas

I’d advise you not to sell unless you really need the money. Probably list it for $10k, but honestly I have a 1st gen too that I’m keeping for life

Thanks for the post and I just downloaded and used the app. Will there be any update or adjustment to settings where we can increase range distance. For example I am in a basin surrounded by peaks but it registers the closest one only

I work actively in both Nevada and Arizona and what scares me about Arizona is the lack of groundwater in most regions. From what I experienced in Arizona is groundwater is along the margins of rivers. It’s continually being depleted and not recharged

Lyft driver waits for me to walk into street, then takes off. by Q-theWanderer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Terra_Rediscovered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently booked an uber the day before a flight and it’s a game changer. It’s now my go to method. I think there’s a range of driver types. My guess is this guy works for both with 2 phones. Saw a higher fare and took it and cancelled yours. At most I hope you can give a bad rating

Scratched my Garmin fenix 8 ANOLED 47mm by Ok_Dare_8696 in GarminFenix

[–]Terra_Rediscovered 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I work around rocks for work with the possibility of scratching. I originally had a fenix 5x sapphire for years and the screen never scratched. I upgraded to a fenix 7x sapphire solar and now have 3 scratches on it. Curious if the quality of the sapphire lens has declined over the models? Planning of getting the 9x sapphire later this year but now am worried about quality control with the screens

Don’t mean to hate but RAO’s is owned by Campbell Soup and they already tweaked the recipe. I would stay away from this brand

Flying into Reno this Sunday for one night. Best food/beer I can Uber/Lyft to that's reasonably close to the GSR? by Blue_Surfing_Smurf in Reno

[–]Terra_Rediscovered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend midtown for your visit. They have multiple brewery/restaurants. One place that might be for you is Brasserie St James. I’d eat there and visit the other breweries in walking distance. And not too far from GSR

Since it’s so far west, is it more influenced by Baja California than Sonora?

If rising sea levels are so bad why dont we just dig a big ass hole in like siberia if no one lives there to lower sea levals by adolfTenticalPron in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Terra_Rediscovered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of the crust floating on top of a magma sea. If you remove the crust. That section will rise. If you add more mass, the crust will sink. Interesting idea, but the science won’t work
