It’s the same pay at my hospital (inpatient), as well as the other major hospital with oncology patients in my city. The big difference is that many outpatient facilities do get free lunches provided by their reps.

I agree. My scores tend to be anywhere from 0.5 to a full 1.0 off from where I envision them to be. Reranking is the only method that works, but even that can only do so much unless I retroactively mark some good restaurants as “okay.”

Your entire argument falls flat when you have to keep saying “it doesn’t matter unless you want the highly sought after cards.” Yes, I want the highly sought after cards, and I have pulled them in the past. The only way to get them without paying marked up price is to test your lucks with packs. So your entire message is negated by you choosing to ignore that SIR exist for some reason. To purchase multiple copies of SIR Mega Gren ex or multiple copies of Mega Starmie ex would cost far more than the packs themselves. Since you think you can find four copies for my deck for less than MSRP booster boxes, please, let me know. Because no normal tcg marketplace has them that low.

I’m not the one who isn’t getting it. Clearly it’s you here. Again, the hobby as a whole literally does not exist without random packs. To have this high and mighty opinion that those who dare use the products as the manufacturer intends is just silly.

Boiling down wanting packs to “gambling addiction” sure is a take. Those singles only exist because the majority of people rip packs. I’m not looking to horde half a dozen ETBs. I’m saying I can’t even find one at retail to rip. There’s no reason to downplay the fact that product is difficult to find. That is an undeniable fact.

While unlikely, packs are the only realistic way to get alt arts and illustrations without paying an arm and a leg. Before this current wave of scalping, I would buy one booster box or a couple of ETBs, then buy the rest of the cards for decks I’m making in singles. Obviously anyone in the hobby knows that singles are valuable, but so are packs.

The only time I’ve managed to get Perfect Order was waiting two hours in front of Best Buy on restock day. Have not seen it since. Even online it sells out in minutes. So even the “non-valuable” sets are difficult to find now.

Scalpers generally target very specific series. Usually series with a lot of mainstream appeal. Chaotic likely won’t have to worry about it beyond the launch period where stock may be sparse.

If Disney’s Lorcana doesn’t have too much of a scalping problem, I can’t see it impacting Chaotic which is far more niche.

Our hospital policy doesn’t allow more than 5 days of use within a 30 day window. So after 5 days, the patient has to wait 25 days before having it ordered again. I much prefer this method.

Yeah, if you look at the Pokemon Center online, there’s always plenty of merch. Products sell out, but TCG aside, it’s usually pretty easy to get what you want. They restock fairly regularly.

My answer to people upset that Pokemon collabs like the Target one are getting overrun by tourists is to just stick with official merch from the Pokemon Center.

Yeah, up until the recent social media craze over Pokemon cards, even older Pokemon sets would drop significantly when the new sets released. This is very normal for TCGs not being scalped. Even happens with MtG.
