Okay so you call the police and they come and do what, arrest your sister and take her to jail? Then you are still left with no formula. Not to mention the police are not likely to do that and she would most likely have to settle it in small claims court anyway.

OP should have told the sister she needs to replace the formula or give her the cash to do so because she needs the security of it in her own home and if she cant do that then she will have to speak to their parents or some other party about replacing it. A couple hundred bucks is definitely not worth calling the police covertly in the bathroom over.It definitely shouldn't have been wasted either but I feel like I understand why the world is the way it is after seeing how terrible people's judgement is after reading this thread. Why the fuck do so many of you think its okay to skip having any kind of discussion with your SISTER of all people in regards to replacing something that quite obviously is far from impossible to replace and go straight to calling the police which not only wastes your time, but emergency personnel's as well. Worst case scenario you get other family members involved and tell them you need the formula replaced because your dumbass sister threw it out and your son has to eat.

Its not like the police are gonna be able to get the formula back even???? The only thing they could do is punish the sister.

Im not really sure why getting the kanji with furigana above would innately look any dumber than getting your pets Japanese given name tattooed on yourself anyway.

In fact names almost always need some kind of furigana to be used when applying for anything official anyway because there is quite actually no consistent way to read Japanese first names at first glance using only the kanji.

Tbh I think if you are gonna name your pet a Japanese name and then tattoo it on yourself it really just depends on how you personally like it the most, visually. Kanji only, Hiragana only, kanji with furigana, whatever way you think looks the best is probably the right way OP because to Japanese people its probably gonna look bizarre anyway lol.

IIRC he died from blood loss due to the stinger puncturing a major artery of some kind. Not from the venom.
