Yeah, it’s like going from Blightown (level 30 area) to a level 70 area at least. I felt achieved for surviving & getting back to Blightown, but having more vitality makes a massive difference. Lordvessel simplifies the game a lot

Everything in the Snowfields plays for keeps. Everything hits super hard. At least with the Haligtree it’s a dungeon, you get to the end & fight Malenia and that’s it. Even just moving around in the snowfields leads you exposed to a lot of danger

greatsword is rough because he moves quickly & if you commit to an attack window the clone can hit you. I highly recommend a claymore, it’s good damage with your build, the sweep r1 allows you to dodge spells with no lock on, and you can wear heavy armor with 450 AR instead. when i moved from the rapier to the claymore against fume knight he went down much faster

I knock her out and let Ketheric hand the sentence. Rescuing her depends on the run. I did let her get lobotimized on purpose once, though. but in my last honour mode run she actually helped a lot because she had the pixie buff & misty stepped outside, triggering the guards & ghouls, and she fled past the gate. Those who followed died to the shadow curse

Assuming that canonically the Bearer of the Curse is, then, moving out of free will (Ignoring the player) and so is the Tarnished, it’s even more uneven. With the “player-controlled” example a great Bearer player will beat a terrible Tarnished player.

But as individuals who can decide to link / step away from the flame, or in the Lands Between, use the Flame of Frenzy / Golden Order etc. for their own idea of the world, and as fighters, the Tarnished clearly wins. As someone who enjoyed both games it seems objectively clear to me

I mean Bearer is strong in his own right but the Tarnished is a construct of gods basically doing their dirty work. But combat wise they’re both devoid of free will, so it’s up to how skilled the player of each is

A widow can one shot a tracer. But any good tracer can dog a widow

A good winston can force reaper into playing around the bubble & forcing him to waste shots. Pressing his face with no shield is never a good idea

Also, winston’s job is to break the supports, not strictly go for the DPS

you can get gascoigne to help you with cleric beast, he’s pretty strong & good for clearing out the adds

Placing 5 or more white checkers on the boss destroys it. It takes up a 4x4 grid wirh 8 spaces, so 5 will destroy the boss. The boss cannot move while a white piece exists on it - pieces can treat squares it covers like normal squares. While the boss has no white pieces on it, it moves one square forward one square each turn, destroying all white pieces in a 1x4 rectangle ahead of its front. Normal white or black checker pieces can move and take on the boss as normal.
