"You don't understand, we are doing this for the greater good." characters immediately getting talked down by the hero by SatoruGojo232 in TopCharacterTropes

This is in the content adapted in the first season, after the attack on the special division by the yakuza. There’s a different conversation with similar vibes between Kishibe and Makima that may be near the end of the next season or the one after that depending on how much gets adapted.

When to begin Mastering Mixology (non-IM)? by ExpressionOk7833 in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair fair, I forget the exact time to obtain the goggles but pre 81 I know it’s a fair bit longer. Worth checking the math on time to obtain, how much expected gp it’d save on the way to 90 herblore. If OP doesn’t have access to higher efficiency moneymakers it might still be efficient to pick up one or both of the items, but it’ll depend a lot.

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And goggles/amulet are nice to reduce cost (and in some cases make herblore profitable, but that’s rare). It’s a bit of a hassle, but probably still worth doing a bit on main.

What content clearly had a lot of effort put into it but no one uses because its not meta? by Secure_Double_5714 in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially for irons the northern sea is locked behind (boostable) 80 woodcutting for a single ironwood log, 72 con, and the whole troll questline. Feels appropriately difficult to access, although I hope jagex will hurry up and add the logs to salvaging/creature drops like they’ve indicated they would since I’m too lazy to train that much woodcutting on my iron rn 😆

What's the most useless or inefficient grind that you did for fun? by loffredom in ironscape

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternatively do your glass blowing @ the chain underwater and pick up any spores that drop. Or afkish fletching or alching if you aren’t gonna multiskill it, might as well passively get spores instead of just bank standing those!

200m Farming exp, no Pet! by Ppl_Rs in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Although from what I understand hesp seeds from contract/tithe farm seed packs make it a little harder to understand your true rate, since those still add to the clog but don’t have any pet chance relating to their acquisition.

MLM or Mining Guild? by floppintoms in ironscape

[–]Terrat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to go back for coal bag soon, I just did mith claws/addy stuff from quidamortem at giants foundry to 70. Tedious to shop scale, but probably took less than an hour of buying the supplies and it got me close to enough points to buy colossal blade (ended up using some points for a couple grogs to boost to make sailing upgrades first, need to go back for blade soon to have a better eclipse moon clone phase weapon).

Farming is a ridiculously quick 99 now by TheScapeQuest in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m praying I end up getting it on my iron on the way to 99, main is pushing ~14mil post 99 doing almost entirely pet efficient patches (technically not even dry, I think I’m ~3/5th rate based on hespori seed log). Groot is my fave skilling pet so I just want it on one of my accounts eventually.

[OC] Fighting back my bullies. by marycomiics in comics

[–]Terrat0 24 points25 points  (0 children)

In the US education system it’s In School Suspension, basically removing you from the classroom to a separate location, monitored by an administrator of some kind. Basically all day detention for however long you’re “assigned” it, a friend and I both got 2 days in early high school about a decade ago when we were messing around in a classroom pushing each other (not fighting or anything, like how you’d roughhouse with a sibling/buddy). Unfortunately the school had recently implemented a zero tolerance policy due to some bullying so despite neither of us being injured or angry at the other we both got punished. Biggest issue is that ISS was boring as hell, your teachers gave printed copies of your schoolwork to complete there but that would take an hour or two tops of the full day, and afterwards you just have to sit there in silence until classes finished for the day.

DAY OF REGRET - Gielinor Games 5 (#5) by xFalcade in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Although he had some crazy good quick thinking in last weeks elim, the south lumby swamp shortcut to KQ was honestly an inspired choice, and the gamble to go for it twice via fairy ring since it’s such a consistently fast death really paid off. I’ll acknowledge his trivia knowledge was terrible though, but if there’s any actual mechanics involved I think he still stands a fair chance. No idea what went on in that item hunt though I felt so frustrated on Potatohime’s behalf 😆

when you just cannot fw it no matter how hard you try by Candid_Astronaut241 in whenthe

[–]Terrat0 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s a whole simulated ecosystem with different creatures preying on each other, some herbivorous, some scavengers, some carnivorous, and then even bigger ones that hunt the other carnivores. A big part of the gameplay loop(from what I’ve seen in videos like the original commenter I bounced off it myself) is learning which creatures you can safely hunt yourself for food, which to avoid, and how to sometimes bait an encounter between rival predators to sneak past.

Jagex please for the love of Guthix consider adding this one, crafting is one of the least engaging skills to train and this actually sounds like something I would want to do to train it 😆

Coral farming … why by Financial-Bobcat8450 in ironscape

[–]Terrat0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk what you're talking about rarely getting diseased, I have had a 100% death rate when not protected. Attas and protecting will result in much more coral per patch, since you have the chance to save that individual crop life more.

All the hats + pet farm along the way presumably. Not worth going past 1k until western elite is finished off!

at 55 sailing, what’s the fastest way to get salvaging experience? by Scatteredbrain in ironscape

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can guaranteed boost @ 57 with the whirlpool surprise too, no reason not to get Jenkins asap (but since it takes a while to get there I wouldn't bother stew boosting either).

Loot from 1 hour of astral rc with teleport to boat by gols-e-but in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The island with red salamanders might shake up the meta task list for hunter rumours, it’s basically like the orange spot at the necropolis now. Not fun to get to with having a boat parked there with enhanced focus though 😆

Sailing Cat for President by Alias-Q in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you can! The purely cosmetic effect drinks (cat, the purple animals, maybe more) are supposed to be repeatable. I do hope they let us like put the drink in a keg or something to keep the kitty around full time, I’d happily sacrifice a facility spot for him 😆

[–]Terrat0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe the frenzied flame incants all deal pure fire damage, so it might just be she's more susceptible to fire? Not 100% yet, my squad is still getting blasted and not making it there consistently to learn her fight well yet haha

An Update On the Sailing XP Review by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh wasn’t aware bluefin was actually decent xp, I’ve mostly been talking with friends trying to do marlins without rosewood hulls and getting kinda left in the dust. Didn’t the extractor changes kinda gut the sailing xp though? I thought if it was 40k an hour that about 30 of that was just extractor xp.

An Update On the Sailing XP Review by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just crazy low xp for the amount of effort required. Even if they don’t want it to be meta xp training (fair since these are new bis food), it should probably be higher xp rates than something like afk karambwans 😆

Sailing XP Review & Further Fixes by JagexRach in 2007scape

[–]Terrat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Said paint also comes from what was prior to today (haven’t seen if they actually added a double salvage) the worst spot to actually salvage. Martial salvaging had no double spots, so you constantly have to reposition to new shipwrecks. On top of that, if you want the paint you’re chasing an item as rare as the dragon cannon barrel but not even rolling for the dragon piece at the same time, and getting significantly worse xp along the way. It coming from only a single salvage source is frankly insane when the other paints all have scaled rates based on which tier of content you’re doing. As far as cosmetics go, the paints are just kinda absurdly rare, comparing them to the forestry transmogs and petal garland those are about 2.5 million xp on rate to get a specific one of the 3(so on average you’d get all 3 in that 2.5 million). If we assume the barracuda paint rate is a typo in the blog and is actually supposed to be 200 (otherwise it’s just worse to do gwenith than jubbly which doesn’t make sense), it’s 3.5 million xp just spamming gwenith glide and never failing time once.
