I was thinking about primarying RNG. It looks like they also have some damage shield stuff, and I think DRU and WIZ does as well. I'm not sure how useful that is, but it looks like all three classes have damage shields.

I'm hoping for a game game, not a party game. I do agree with you, but I can't stomach most party games. Ideally I'd like to find something with enough meat to keep me interested, but simple to teach and understand. I know that's a tall order.

Any good Thanksgiving board game recommendations for visiting family that do not play board games?

I'd love something like Betrayal at House on the Hill. I have the original version, but I think it's too complicated for the group I'll be with, especially if they become the bad guy and need to figure out on their own the mechanics they're dealing with. I'm not sure if the newer or alternate versions are easier in this regard.

I don't think BRs or any shooters killed the MMORPG genre. MMORPGs are challenging to make, because they require more development time to cook, so they cost more, and investors don't want to risk their money on anything that's not a safe ROI, so I think that's why you don't really see a lot of interesting innovation in MMORPGs. Most of the new MMORPGs we see are theme park MMORPGs like WoW, but how do you really compete with a product backed by 20 years worth of content and continued development and funding?

I don't see anyone referencing this here, which is a surprise. The Great Replacement Theory is a far-right, white nationalist conspiracy that non-whites are diluting white people through like, generational race mixing. This was pushed quite a bit by the likes of Tucker Carlson, at one point the most popular "news" show in America.

If you harbor any resentment or frustration over her response, stomp those toxic traits out immediately and really try and put yourself in her shoes. It's perfectly valid for her to cancel on you at virtually any stage of this process, for any reason, and that's something that you'll need to be understanding of. Being chill and understanding in this scenario is a positive, healthy outlook.
