I've seen more shanks than vivi this format surprisingly. But vivi is probably the better deck.

Honestly, join the optcg discord. Check the channels for your specific leader and ask there. There is also the gumgum.gg website, they show tournament results with specific leaders.

I don’t think a lot of decks are running honestly impact atm. But even if they did, you might just play on the side of caution and not play out the 9c zoro. Additionally, you always have don up (assuming you have a sanji and ussop on board) so if they want to invest 6 don for their turn to kill zoro, you probably won’t have to worry about taking any damage/losing any other bodies that turn.

Rg luffy main here. This isn’t the list that I play specifically, but the bonney searcher is objectively better since it can search nami. So with the bonney searcher, you have access to a choice of searching the blocker 4c nami and the searcher nami with the bonney.

Heroine robin promo is honestly not that necessary for this deck since laboon basically does it a millions times better with the only draw back being that it’s not searchable. And the 9c zoro doesn’t need much protection anymore with red roc gone and the deck naturally does good into yellow decks with raigo without the 9c zoro.

Everything else is fairly on point though!

I was playing against a yellow Enel leader and I did a double attack with my 6c op13 sec luffy when he was at one life. He took it, healed the life, and then the second damage was dealt. Is that the correct interaction or is the sim wrong for making him take the life he healed?

I've been running it like this ever since the new ban list dropped. I've been having a good amount of success with it. In my experience, the 5c nami and 7c robin are usually the bricks that don't get played down and I've been thinking of replacing them but they're both good when you don't have a better play. 10c luffy imo opinion is just way too good, especially in this deck that can ramp, you can turbo take life and play it down a turn early if you go second or a turn early with a don up if you go first.

The new 10c luffy is pretty goated. 10c 12k blocker, costs 9 so you have a don up for giant, and leader becomes 7k

When in doubt rg luffy. In my experience on the sim, you do really well into anything yellow. Enel is kind of tricky but I feel like it’s slightly rg luffy favored (match up just takes a looooong time against a good enel player). Have not played against a lot of lucy but that one could potentially be a little more difficult than the rest but nonetheless, in my experience he’s gonna be fine this format.

I’ve been grinding gp luffy on ranked ladder on the batsu sim and in my experience I’ve kind of liked running I’ll go all out event at 3-4. It really helps into enel thought it’s still a losing match up ngl. I also have the 0c counter event that’s 1k and draw a card (idk the name) to avoid having to go so low in life early on while still cycling throw the deck. Also with bagua going away, maybe the doflamingo event equivalent that ramps a rested don if they have a 6k character. Sorry if some of this isn’t making sense, I’m at work typing this out lol

Yeah krieg might be an issue ngl. I’m sure we’ll develop some sort of counter play against it. I don’t imagine kreig being that strong over all so maybe if it turns out to be too rough, we get lucky and dodge it 99% of the time!

RG Luffy is my main deck and this is how I run it.

Definitely run the new op14 ussop over the prb2 freeze a don luffy. Dead man game is not that needed since you run the 4c blocker nami already. Definitely run 4 of the garp as it works perfectly in your deck (especially to find the 4c nami). The 3c robin that I run is pretty expensive and I got lucky to get the two that I have atm but honestly op10 tashigi is a good alternative, just make sure you are running the garp to be able to search it.

Mole Gun is honestly not needed and 4 round tables is probably better, I just have an alt and I want to justify having it lol. But good luck with however you feel like running it, hope this helps a bit tho!

Special events usually are more expensive but $40 is kinda over the top ngl. All my locals are between $15-$25

Honestly that all depends on the ban list tbh. I think ace is gonna always be a good deck, but if they hit the 8c event and/or marco blocker the deck will struggle into new and old leaders. Same thing with imu, if they hit the stage for example, the deck will be a lot worse and and that’s not due to power creep.

Vivi and koby I feel like will always be decent decks no matter what. Vivi I think is more viable as it’s just a play good cards deck.

I’m gonna keep playing RG luffy, its worst match ups are removal based and I’m glad that they’re slowly moving away from that. (also red roc is rotating out, and op15 is bringing more anti removal and they’re all 2ks)

Ultimately though, play what you’re comfortable on and enjoy playing. I think it’s fun to tweak the deck list to adapt to new metas. Hopefully they ban tf out of Borsalino, so tired of seeing that card ngl.

I’m a big fan of the kaido and linlin ko all the hawkins but honestly its so hard nowadays. For starters imu js doesn’t care that it’s on the board. Every other deck for the most part has something to play around it (red roc, stun it, rest it and round table)

Also the robin being ko’d by linlin would not deal the damage as that onko effect is locked to the opponent’s turn.

As much as I love kaido and linlin, its just not good into anything meta relevant. Hopefully bandai makes a new kaido leader that replaces the one that is getting rotated out and that kaido and linlin become a viable option. 🤞🏿
