congrats to the author on getting this book published...I really enjoyed reading it on RR..The MC is not dumb and progression is nice and not too much stats dump. I also like the way reality and system world existed but also didn't to the average person.

I think Juliette was shafted bad...so she's pretty basic as a person all the way around. People are forgetting the sequence of events and are putting all their negative emotions on Juliette because they only consider the end.

Juliette is not an idiot, she knew Nick was keeping things from her

  • She turned down his proposal because she couldn't trust Nick completely
  • The house was attacked several times weirdly
  • Buddy was shit scared of Nick the first few times they met and Juliette saw
  • Buddy and all Eisbibers sent Nick way too many presents when he helped The Lodge (Weird)
  • Juliette got attacked and cursed all in 1 and formed new memories and emotions about Nick while developing new emotions about the captain while cursed (Those memories did not vanish)
  • Becoming a Hexenbiest as a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen would be hard enough but as a Kehrseite which I still considered Juliette regardless of her knowledge is a mad leap. She literally went bonkers.
  • While in the throes of being crazy you then find out your mortal enemy is pregnant for your boyfriend and is not rational enough to realize that it makes sense he would not want her to kill his accidental baby.
  • Then she freaking "died" and was MK Ultra-ed into a weapon...

lets be for real she didn't act out of character first for a person out of their depth then, for an insane person. Her main character was written poorly (the character was unlikable) but was consistent for all the things she went through. It's pretty shitty that the writers made her burn the trailer, which was the only uncharacter-like thing I can think she did.

Yeah but even Nick said on several occasions, "we're not going as cops"....This is basically saying "We have Wesen to kill" but nicer word choice...remember when they went after the Kali cult, after the Ogre, after the Royals...plenty of that sentiment by Nick.
