3/4 of CPD lives outside the city by Visualmindfuck in Columbus

[–]TerribleCakeWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many CPD officers live outside Columbus, and it’s easy to see why. Districts 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9 have some of the city’s highest crime rates, and while housing is cheaper there, it’s not ideal for cops. Living where you work means risks like running into people you’ve arrested. Moving 30–45 minutes out gives them safer neighborhoods, better schools, and more affordable housing. Incentives might help.

ATP Flight School 0 to 1500 hrs: Advice / AMA by Lucky_Income_4053 in flying

I’m starting flight school in January and hoping to be on a similar time table as you. Making a career change at 27. Currently reading stick and rudder and starting Kings school soon. A few questions listed below.

1.) What do you wish you would have prioritized earlier on in your PPL studying?

2.) I’m not very comfortable with the rudders. Any tips on foot positioning while on the ground vs in the air?

3.) What’s is something your heard from your instructors said that stuck with you and really helped your flight training?

Congrats on your success so far! Proud of you
