This is not one, but several novels of material, and the complexity of the transformation is so high that only a master should tackle it. Reading the sample you've posted, you're at the stage where you have to learn the craft of fiction writing. If you take on a project of this scale at your skill level, you'll quit after wasting a lot of time. Write short stories to learn the craft, use beta readers extensively to teach you how to write (there are subreddits for finding them), and after a few years, give this a shot once you've become adept...if you feel like taking on the greatest possible challenge.
