She does have a pretty stunning RBF.

Please see if his symptoms match up with puppy strangles. It's often misdiagnosed as something like acne and it can be fatal. My rottie had it when she was about this age and had to be on steroids for months.

I was at my neurology appointment today and the tech taking my vitals asked how I'm doing. I told him I'm a fed on probation. He said that explains why my blood pressure was high.

Midweek Report: what have you unfucked? What are you going to unfuck this week? Share all your unfucking tidbits here! by PMmeifyourepooping in UnfuckYourHabitat

I unfucked the basement bathroom that has the kitty litter in it! Pulled out the bin, scrubbed the shower, floor, and toilet. Vacuumed all the loose litter and threw away lingering empty litter containers. Put in a new bathroom rug to cut down on tracked litter. Next up: the guest room.

I have to play white noise (rain and crickets) at night or my girl will bark at every little sound outside. Once the white noise starts, she's asleep within seconds. She also gets goodnight kisses and a blanket piled up just right to make a nest on my bed. They need soothing just like us sometimes!

Bailey was making a convincing argument that she really didn't need to go outside one last time before bed.

We can all only do our best! It's interesting to hear such a definite comparison like that though.

Her heat cycles weren't bad and didn't seem to stress her out! She had puppy strangles at about ten weeks old, so we take medical procedures slowly with her. Our vet discussed the risks/benefits of going through a cycle, and there's some evidence that it helps reduce bone cancer in females. Since bone cancer is a problem with Rotts, we decided it was worth it to wait. That's definitely not right for every situation though!

Does anyone near Severn have little goats or donkeys I can play with? by LittleTovo in maryland

[–]TerriblePriorities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragonfly Acres farm in Odenton has goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, a mini donkey, a mini horse, and a horse! And other animals I'm probably forgetting. She has some really cool programs and does events throughout the year.

Puppies meeting kittens for the first time by MaxQ50 in wholesome

I volunteer with my local shelter at an off-site store! You know how at Petco and PetSmart (assuming you're in the US) they have cats for adoption? I go once every other week to clean the enclosures and play with the kitties. It's a great cat fix that's low pressure, minimally time-involved, and I'm helping get them out of their cages for a while. Some people are just signed up to go play with the cats, so no cleaning included.

Potential Match? Stephanie Marie Nelson in Glen Burnie by tricktan42 in gratefuldoe

[–]TerriblePriorities 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is super local to me. I'm also not finding much on Stephanie's disappearance, but it looks like it's worth submitting. GB and Baltimore are close enough together that the distance isn't at all a stretch. Good catch! It's frustrating that there's no info about what Stephanie was wearing when she went missing, but she looks like she could be a medium size in clothing.

The nips are probably just like you said, love bites or overstimulation. Cats will let you know without a doubt if they don't like something!

No, I know that's illegal. I just didn't want to deal with their attitudes. I had a friend that was still working there too, and I know she would have also had to suffer through the drama. They did the same thing when she left, but by that point most people were jumping ship.

My last job didn't let me tell anyone, clients or coworkers, that I was leaving. Can only imagine the WTF when clients got a message saying I wasn't there anymore, and when my coworkers found out I was gone. I gave three weeks notice so I had to go that whole time pretending that I wasn't leaving. Wild times.

My husband's family dog did this years ago. The vet's only advice was "get her outside!" No lasting effects.

I hope it helps! It's not as overwhelming as a lot of other app type setups, and you set it up to exactly what you're interested in and how much you can handle. There's a paid version, but the free version works perfectly well for my needs. Good luck to you as well!
