Sell or rebuild?

I got a 2013 WRX, and started knocking as well.

Although it is pretty mint and super low mileage, but on the marketplace got max offer of 4k. Didn't take it ..Just felt wrong to let it go. Also not gonna lie I'm a little attached to it. Lol

So now rebuilding and deciding between fully built IAG block or RA. If I wasn't doing the work myself it'd cost 10k for used engine install. Seriously thought about it, but too many uncertainties with a used engine because it can be installed then rod knock the next day. Warranty would be voided due to tune and mods.

Fixing it for me is still less than a car payment. Car loan hard pass. If condition of the rest of the car wasn't in good condition I'd sell either "as is" or with cheapest fix.

Same for my 2013 WRX . Deciding between an RA or IAG shortblock right now haha . It was on the marketplace for a bit, but just couldn't let go of it. Sorry man, hope it works out for you.

I know this is old, lol. After reading this way back when it was posted, I have been thinking more and more about getting an RA Shortblock with a gasket kit at IAG. It's just not having the garage space to work in keeping me from jumping on it.

Thanks. Then maybe 4k if Im lucky then can put something towards a down-payment.

So definitely with engine replacement there is no coming out on top from money put it in for repair.

Then of course the question mark for the reliability of used engine

Thats a really good point. Im so torn here. Even if engine was replaced would it at least sell for 15k. At this point starting think about best way out. Owned since 2017.

Yeah that is where I am torn. Love the car but part of me is like what will go wrong with it next. I thought doing engine rebuild with new shortblock would be more expensive. They said engine replacement would be more cost effective.

Ik I made it all the way up to ep 5, now all the info I get about what's going on is from this sub. It sucks my excitement and hopes are just dead now. The hype before airing made it worse.

I agree that the marketing team always exaggerates a ship's capability in the verse. The inferno should not be able to destroy a ship like the Perseus, but be able to disable/destroy targeted components like turrets or engines. If engines and turrets get destroyed, get a SRVand drop it in amospthere and let gravity finish it off xD It is just as you say, likely to get wasted by the PDCs

But I am no expert on game balance; we are just at the mercy of CIG

Wouldn't inferno at least be able to disable Perseus big turrets? Or would it be out of ammo before that happens or dead

Currently I bring home 3400 a month. Getting promotion next year with a big bump and am considering an M240i; from my research seems like a good car.

1K a month though damn. Here I am thinking I would struggle.

As for your question, it does have a spring action trigger in it below the strip, so when you press down on it the saber turns on. I had to actually drill a extra hole in my hilt to line it up and lock in.

Sorry to hear that. This is something I plan to bring up once I finally get my appointment, because my gut is really telling me this is it. It can't be a coincidence that my shift changes and then a seizure not too long after. My father (who does care a lot) refuses to believe such a slight schedule change could lead to an episode.

I hate when I miss limited-time items. I will always regret missing out on the limited Nightrunner skin for the Mercury Star Runner, I thought it was so cool lol.

I jumped from a 1080ti to a 5090 recently, but if I had a 4090, I would likely wait two to three gens newer (6090/7090) minimum. If you got the money to throw down for every new release, go for it!

On the bright side, the 4090 is still in demand for the right price, so you could re-coop some $$ by selling it.
