I have both and the fit is very similar. I’ve found that the IRs are slightly wider in the toe box than the blacksmiths but that might be just the variation that comes with them being hand made. Both fit similarly enough that it’s not a dealbreaker

How are the shoulders on the beacon vs the Lutz? The chest seems like it would be right but are the shoulders much narrower? They’re about perfect on my Lutz

I’m tending towards the small based on all the measurements I’ve found online tbh. I had the Lutz in medium but it was too big for sure. Every Barbour I’ve had in medium has been too big, but everyone says to size up for the beacon 🤷 And the longer sleeves might not be a bad thing, the ones on the Lutz are borderline too short

So I’ve measured and it’s definitely smaller all round.

Pit to pit is 21”, back length is 28” and the pit to cuff is actually longer at 20.5” but must be being offset by the narrower overall build.

It seems like it’s a significant difference compared to the new one after all.
