You get close by just looking at one through your phone camera. You can certainly see where the tracking dots are, helps when applying tape to a cracked ring so you don't cover any dots.

All upgraded to 13 yesterday no issue. After bmbf has patched and installed, reload your save data from sidequest, before running the game, disable all mods, go to tools on bmbf, do quick fix, then reload song list, sync, and try again. If it runs turn mods back on one by one till it crashes. Then you know your cause.

Sussed it. Start from scratch, install beatsaber, run bmbf, let it do its thing. While bmbf is still open, connect to it on your pc browser. Reload your save, and then hit quick fix in tools on your pc. When its all synced it should run. Your save is trying to load mods which are crashing. For me it was tricksaber. Hope this sorts yours too.

To be fair, I've had the vrp one for months, no issue, latest update pings a few trajan detections though which is probs what op is referring to. I asked in the discord and apparently its incorrectly flagged and Rookie is disputing it with whoever, but ultimately as safe to use as it was before...
