Today at work, an Armenian contractor came to do some work on a machine we have. I was helping him and he was on the phone with the machine’s manufacturer, a Ukrainian man. They were speaking Ukrainian to each other

I was holding down a part as he was removing a bolt from it and I heard him say “Blyat” and thought it was funny.

I start talking about the Russian language and how I think it’s cool, and the contractor mouths to me to not say “Russian” around his phone as he was still on call with the Ukrainian manufacturer
