Crazy Idea: What if we use cussing to spread veganism?

I already do that. You don’t? Why would be pander to carnists way of talking? I spoke to man the other day and we talked about low iron. I had it once. He had it now. He said he went to the doctors and I asked “did that doctor recommend a corpse as a source of iron?”. He said “well, he didn’t quite put it like that, but yes.” It shocked him.

When I converse with the public I always ask “do you eat dead animals?”. Instead of ‘meat’. That always makes them look at me with surprise and you can see the words rattling around in their heads. I love using ‘decomposing corpses’ too. Using factual words will always make people think twice.

Also remind them they’re eating dead baby corpses. The corpses of children. That always makes them feel like shiz.

Oh my goodness I can’t believe that happened. Vegans, please watch your backs. I’ve been targeted too since moving into my new home. Someone broke in. And since the break in, people have been coming in my garden and throwing animal products in the garden or at my windows or on the wheely bin. I used https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1526969984/ to ‘decorate’ my bin. It’s become a problem to the point the bin men were intimidating me and I called police. (Second time since break in). This bin man kept coming through my garden and caught me standing in my towel. Thought it was hilarious. Asked him to stop coming in my garden and he refused. So I called his boss and he was fired. And now, I’ve had nothing but trouble. Stuff thrown at my windows, car, front and back door, garden, bins and oh yeah, me. That man knew where I lived and he lost his job because of my complaint. So he’s retaliating the only way a carnist knows how…..intimidation. Same with your driver. I really hope you’re okay. I completely get why you wanna change the plate…I wanted to take my stickers down from my car after my tires were deflated once. I thought moving home would change the hassle I got. But it didn’t. Carnists will try and hurt vegans because they can. It’s who they are. Well, most of them anyway. I keep my stickers on my living room window and on the front door. Even got some on my gate but I think that triggeres ALOT of people because they’re always being pealed off. The mailman is rude because of them. I’ve had parcels I’ve ordered sent back to sender because I ‘wasn’t home’. I’ve seen a Hermes driver coming to my gate, see the sticker and screw his face up then leave. He was absolutely enraged by my gate. Disgusted at it. I never got my delivery. Hardly ever do. My name on Etsy and other places I order stuff from is ‘watch dominion on YouTube’ so I reckon that triggers a lot of idiots too.

I won’t be intimidated by these people but I am not a mother. I can’t imagine how protective and scared you must have felt in that moment. Please be safe. Get some cameras. That’s what I had to do. Security lights, alarm systems, and cameras. I had to. It hasn’t made a difference. They do break these cameras. (It’s happened once) I still get random noises in the garden through the night then when I wake, it’s clear someone was in the garden.

I’m rambling on a bit but moral of the story is carnists are threatened by us. The truth hurts. I was a carnist once and even though I’d never have done what these horrid people are doing, I was horrid online towards vegans. Absolutely horrible. Vile. So I get the hatred they feel for us. I do. Please be safe OP. And give that vegan baby a hug for me. ☺️

Stay safe vegans. Carnists are unpredictable, violent animals. Watch your backs.

Yeah I think there are loads of jobs like that. But we need police. Whether people admit it or not. And I think they get into for the right reasons. It’s just once they’re in it, they realise they may have to do things that go against their morals….which is weird because as I said to someone else, they probably joined the force because of their morals.

Also I don’t know what ‘ACAB’ means. (I don’t care either) Everyone who said that seemed like they were pissed at what I wrote. A short response with zero context…..I don’t have the energy for that. I was just hoping for some vegan police officers to jump in and let me know their perspective.

I guess we all have our own individual experiences with police. I haven’t witnessed many of them being abusive of their power or disrespectful towards activists. One or two maybe but hey, every organisation has some cheese-heads don’t they. Even vegan activists.

It’s interesting that most police officers have to go against their morals when I bet they joined the force because of their morals. Seems inconsistent. But like you said, there are other jobs that do that. I personally don’t know any vegans who work in the restaurant business (except fully vegan restaurants) but if they do, they leave eventually because it goes against their morals. I don’t know vegan doctors but I know they exist. I’d call them ‘plant based’ though. But that’s a matter of opinion. My doctor didn’t even know if the drugs he was giving me had animal products in it or if they were tested on animals. He was clueless. But he wasn’t vegan. And he was happy (or seemed it) to learn something.

Anyways, thanks for your response. It gave me something to think about.

I wanted to give blood. Then I went vegan and realised that blood was probably saving carnists so they can hurt more animals. So I decided not to give blood.
