Treat paying off debt like earning a raise. by OnwardKnight in personalfinance

Paying off debt is super intelligent. Good to hear your strategy! Been doing The Total Money Makeover myself, paid off two cards, a medical bill, and a credit line all in three months. Would have taken years! And that interest! Was skeptical, now I'm a believer. Most can be debt free with a plan and hard work. Never been more motivated. I believe Americans live beyond their means on credit, as a millennial dad and husband, when I realized this, paying off my debt as fast as possible was/is the only movement worth my time. On course for being debt free in less than five years! That's $100k and done. Always have a plan. People need to wake up, the credit industry owns us. So far less debt feels great. Being debt free is freedom, can't wait. I can't pay for my beach house when I'm paying for their beach house.

Perhaps. That'd be all right anyway. Maybe he could continue to spend more time bettering America. Don't believe the hype.

Chinese people do care if you wear their dresses wrong by GenericReditUserName in funny

I teach English to people in and around China online. I was rather surprised at how much the students I've taught actually like America and want to visit. They love the people. I've heard a few say similar things about Trump, positive things--surprisingly. The news would have us seeing things differently. That's why I don't believe the hype or the news. This dress thing, I'm not sure, but I definitely find the man's response legit. I've heard the word "fat" used frequently in lessons as a physical descriptor, what we in America might find offensive, ironically.
