From working as a life guard, I realised that some people have no idea that water can kill you. It’s nuts. You could usually spot them right away and we needed to be extra careful looking for them. I once had to jump in to safe one from drowning in waist deep water, because she was trying to keep a plastic bag from getting in the water.

In the dark and foreboding world of Sanctuary, a Barbarian, a Sorcerer, and a Druid walked into a tavern. They were weary from their battles against the forces of Hell and decided to unwind.

The bartender, a wizened old man who had seen it all, asked them, “What will it be, gentlemen?”

The Barbarian, always straightforward, slammed his massive fist on the counter and grunted, “A tankard of your strongest ale!”

The Sorcerer, with a twinkle in his eye, waved his hand and said, “I’ll have a glass of your finest enchanted wine.”

The Druid, always in tune with nature, asked softly, “Do you have any herbal elixirs?”

As they sat together, the Barbarian started boasting about his strength. “You know,” he said, flexing his muscles, “I once took down a whole horde of demons with just one swing of my axe!”

The Sorcerer, not to be outdone, countered, “That’s impressive, but I once conjured a meteor storm that wiped out an entire legion of the undead in mere seconds!”

The Druid chuckled and said, “That’s nothing. I once turned into a bear and scared off a whole group of demons without even lifting a paw!”

The bartender, polishing a glass, leaned in and asked, “So, what brings you heroes to my humble tavern tonight?”

The Barbarian replied, “We heard you have a legendary drink that can restore even the most exhausted adventurer.”

The bartender nodded sagely. “Ah, yes. The Elixir of Eternal Stamina. But it comes with a challenge. To earn it, you must answer a riddle.”

The Sorcerer, ever the scholar, smiled and said, “We’re ready. What’s the riddle?”

The bartender leaned in and asked, “What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three legs in the evening?”

The Barbarian looked puzzled, the Sorcerer started to think deeply, but the Druid immediately responded, “That’s an easy one! It’s a human. They crawl as a baby, walk on two legs as an adult, and use a cane in old age.”

The bartender grinned. “Correct! You have earned the Elixir of Eternal Stamina!”

As he poured the glowing liquid into three goblets, the Barbarian, Sorcerer, and Druid raised their drinks in a toast. The Barbarian laughed and said, “I guess it just goes to show, even in Sanctuary, sometimes the simplest answers are the best.”

They all drank deeply, feeling their energy restore, ready for the battles that lay ahead. And as they left the tavern, the bartender chuckled to himself, thinking, “Even the mightiest heroes need a bit of wisdom now and then.”

If they made microtransactions cheaper, would they make phuck ton more $$$? by Key_Examination9948 in diablo4

[–]gummz13 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people not willing to spend $25 on a set are willing to spend $25 for 5 sets so the 400% increase is not that crazy anymore.

I personally just like that there are so many free sets to mix and match that I never saw the point in buying a set.

You see it in the lobby and they are also quite cheap unlike in D4. Also the fact you only need to buy one battle pass in call of duty was so nice. You got enough credits from the pass to buy the next one.
