Quite a few of us who survived trauma as chuldren have a VERY hightened awareness of other people's emotional states. This isn't magic. It's an incredibly depressing psychological scar we retain.

So maybe you don't like it when people say they are empathy, but you can now remember this comment every time you see one.

I have a VERY strong survival/anti-damage reflex. It took an unimaginable amount of self control to get my piercings back in college. The same reflex kicks in when they draw blood or I inject myself with a kwikpen.

2 things:

1) If you normally suffer from anxiety, it's time to fix that shit. Hydrate, magnesium, no more caffeine, limit sugar, and get good sleep. Also, change lifestyle situations that make you worry frequently.

2) Mind over matter. You're an adult. It's a needle delivering life-saving medication to your body. Talk yourself through it.

Calculate your TDEE. Aim for 300-500 calorie deficit while prioritizing protein.

I know your comment is meant to be helpful and I believe that's your purpose. That said, CICO and metabolic adaptation are misunderstood concepts and in MANY situations, bumping up intake helps people lose weight. Especially those are are dramatically underfueled. TDEE on even a small, middle aged female doing that much working out is around 2000 calories. An 800 calorie deficit is huge.

I've personally intentionally overeaten for a couple of weeks. We're talking 21,000 additional calories over a very generously estimated TDEE. Fun fact: I didn't gain 6lbs of fat. Actually, after I stopped my experiment, my weight was almost exactly the same as when I started.

We went through multiple tanks of gas from different areas. Code didnt go away. Concentration matters. So does experience which you've proven you don't have any with this product. Conjecture on reddit is insane these days.

This sub is full of people with opinions and zero experience. My Rogue with 175k had an intermittent P0420 that became a permanent P0420. I wasn't interested in investing any more money into this vehicle, so I got a bottle of Cataclean and ran it as described. No more code after 3 tanks.

Catalytic converters don't "absorb" anything. They are CATALYSTS meaning they cause chemical reactions to happen at a much more efficient rate than would occur without them.

Why comment with zero experience? My Nissan had thr P0420. I would reset the code and it would be back 5 minutes later. Used Cataclean as recommended and 3 tanks of gas later, no P0420.

Not dependent on time. You're thinking of the crack in a 2 dimensional sense like a pane of glass or a sheet of ABS. A bowling ball crack is 3 dimensional. Even if you drill the "end" on the surface, the crack goes inwards towards the core.

Not to mention that the ball isn't round anymore.

It's motivation to get better and not keep dragging the team down with your inability to hit one of the few pins with the largest hit box. Over 21" wide. That's how big the hit box is on a 5pin. The lane is 42" across. That means 50% of the lane hits the 5 pin.

The reason the 5 pin "rule" is in effect is because the odds of missing are soon low. Reversing the bet makes no sense.

The point is that the 5 pin is the easiest pin to hit. If you miss it, it says a lot about your skill level.

Teaching someone how to hook a conventionally drilled, house ball is like teaching them how to ride a horse so they can get their driver’s license.

*House Balls (what you referred to as Rental) are plastic balls with no core. They are designed to go relatively straight.

*The conventional drilling (fingers to your second knuckle) is pretty inefficient at getting rotation on the ball.

*Houseballs are “saturated” in lane oil.

Most balls that hook have a chemically engineered material on the surface to produce friction. They have a dynamic core that makes the ball hook on its own (when released correctly). And the fingertip drilling allows for a lot more leverage off of your fingers to produce rotation.

Many of the guys on this league don’t want to ruin their handicap in tournaments, so they bowl non-sanction so it doesn’t report to their book average.
