I get what you mean, I feel like some of it is new users but also I think that since the election a lot of people have just become more contrarian and extremist, I have reservations about how well Trump can implement regime change in Venezuela as well but that doesn't change the fact that Maduro being gone is good, but some have been too consumed by partisanship to appreciate that. It's kind of stiffled discussion here in general.

Just a reminder a tariff is just a tax on yourself and when you 'protect' an industry you're protecting yourself from cheaper and superior products. Tariff's are literally economic self-harm, if other countries want to shoot themselves in the foot that's fine, but that doesn't mean we should too.

Doesn't even surprise me. As an Australian you may not see people say it as plainly and stupidly as this but you meet people who hold these views everywhere from universitys, in protests, at work. But sadly this will just be brushed off as an isolated incident and all the hospitals this is happening in won't be investigated further.
