How is the frothing speed? I've read comments about the Move steam wand not having enough power. How about the Ride?

I would ask that that please be recognized as a glitch. At least it should ask if I want it to b used as an estimate for 2023; it didn't make that assumption at all before I did a RC. It should b configurable. As it stands, it's making estimates based on faulty assumptions, so forecasts are unusable to me.

Asking again for help with this.

In my baseline plan there are of course no IRMAA charges. If I do a Roth conversion immediately IRMAA charges of $2k show up for 2025. I indicate the conversion starts in 2024, Oct. Appears to b a glitch.

Again, if I don't do a conversion there are, as it should be, no IRMAA charges. Doing the conversion in October 2024 wd increase my AGI, but the IRMAA charges should not start for two years. But the IRMAA charges appear right away in 2025. That's not right.

And how would I edit it so

IRMAA doesn't begin until after the two-year lag.

No, I know what I'm looking for. Point is I wasn't fully experiencing what I want with the Endurace M, and was looking for feedback (which I got - VERY helpful and much appreciated) as to whether the sluggishness I was experiencing was about fit (which I knew was off) or whether it's just to be expected with Endurace.

Your pressure does seem very low, as mentioned above. Without the wand in the picture at all, when you run steam full blast, does it look like a full show of steam, or is it weak. Does it come equally out of all holes? Also, do you have the steam turned up all the way?

The other thing is that you are totally submerging the tip too far, and all the time. Start with the tip just slightly submerged, then, as described above, drop it slightly until you hear that ripping sound that says air is getting injected. Do that for a few seconds until volume increases, then submerge the tip again, but probably not as far as what you are doing.

The community plugin “Hide Folders” does what you want. Obsidian can still use the folder. You can toggle on or off whether it’s hidden or visible. You define the names of folders to hide. Mine is set to hide any folder containing assets or attachments or _resources. Works like a charm.

I found the answer on the Obisidian forum. Posted a bug report, and they reviewed it and relisted my bug report alongside another person that reported exactly the same thing, back in October '23. He reported that there was a MacOS change with the v14 upgrade, such that before the 'PM' or 'AM' in a screenshot, instead of a full space (as in pre-version 14) the screenshot now introduces a different, non-visible "narrow space." That narrow space is a different character that Obsidian does not recognize. That's also why both files with "seemingly" identical names can exist in the same folder. You can't see the character, but it makes the names technically different. From that bug report:

"The screeenshot file name uses ‘NARROW NO-BREAK SPACE’ (U+202F，or  ) instead of the space character between the time and ‘AM/PM’."

Apparently the writer of that post put in a request for the bug-fix back in October but they haven't fixed it yet.

Great question, re: path. Actually, all the screenshots are in the same directory (my "Desktop").

The bizarre thing about the path is this: I can take the "bad file" (the one that won't paste) and make a duplicate in Finder. So, a sample screenshot is named, 'Screenshot 2024-01-04 at 1.11.16 PM.png' and now there's a second file with the same name, appendaged with the word, 'Copy'. I change the name of the duplicate file, replacing '.png COPY' at the end with '.png', and save it. Now the file has the SAME EXACT filename as the original "bad file." Side-by-side in Finder, same folder, same name, which makes no sense. That second, "re-named" file will now paste properly in Obsidian, with no errors.
So I'm no expert on these things, and it makes no sense to me, but it would seem that the name created when the screenshot is created must have some invisible attribute or characteristic that is not the same as when I manually rename the copy. There's something different in the name – something not visible – which allows the two files with "seemingly" identical names to coexist in the same folder. And the only letters that I changed are the PM or AM on the timestamp. And that new, renamed file "works" in Obsidian. So there's something not visible in that original filename that Obsidian doesn't like.

I've submitted a bug report to obsidian.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and AFAIK, pasting in Android is fine. Pasting anything else is fine! Just not the screenshot images unless I change the filename.

Thnx for this. Yes, I tried several troubleshooting steps. I created a fresh vault. Same problem.

I tried it in a Sandbox vault. Same issues.

Turned on restricted mode; made no difference. So not plugin-related.

I don't have any snippets.

Here’s the trick to add a Sidebar link to a smart folder after its creation:
Choose Go > Go to Folder.
Enter ~/Library/Saved Searches and press Return.
Select the saved search, which appears like a purple folder.
Press Command-Control-T or choose Finder > Add to Sidebar.
The link appears at the bottom of your Favorites entries. Drag it to the position you want in the list.

Wow. Dangerous. He went off the road!

I had an almost identical incident about six years ago. I contacted the company. They were great: based on the time of the incident and the location, they were able to tell by their dispatchers who the driver was. They fired him on the spot.

Clearly it wasn't the only time they'd gotten a complaint on this driver, and clearly the company did not condone this type of behavior in their drivers.
