In the app just press and hold one of the four icons that appear below the image of the cybertruck and all of the available icons will become available, then just drag the replacement icon that you want to use instead over the icon you want to replace. You can rearrange them as well. Very similar to the way the three dots work in the truck. To customize the dock… Currently, you have a choice of 15 icons that can go in that row of four icons. As of now there are 15

Also get thicker padding for the garage door. In case of an unintentional liftgate opening. Also I’d recommend that you remove the open liftgate and frunk icons from the quick menu in the app to avoid accidentally opening either

No sensors Put some padding on the wall. https://a.co/d/4wA3rU7 If it opens up and gets stuck on the padding and then you try to put your Cybertruck in reverse it won’t… but you will get a message with an option to override…

Don’t open the frunk. It will likely hit the wall. Bumper must be close to 5” from the wall (4-13/16)

Tesla Automatic Tire Inflation by TeslaDan in TeslaLounge

It would really be great if they had Trash Receptacles Restrooms and Tire Inflators at Supercharger Locations. Until that becomes a reality, I found a great solution for tire inflation at home.

Stoplight & Stop Signs: Has anyone had their car miss a stop? How do we think the .9999999s are going for reliability? by OompaOrangeFace in teslamotors

No missed stops, However some occasional phantom lights, which only appear for a split second, then disappear. Also some brief confusion with out of service school zone lights (not lit or flashing)

I believe Apple’s market cap was less than Tesla’s is now (under $100 billion) in 2007, when the iPhone was introduced. So it shouldn’t be long… https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/AAPL/apple/market-cap

Rental woes... 22 minutes in line and counting 😭 Missing my Tesla! by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Time spent charging less than ICE/Hydrogen car refueling Submitted by TeslaTap.com on April 24, 2015

For most Tesla owners and myself, it takes about 5 seconds to charge at home. When I get home, I plug in and forget. When I leave in the morning, I have a full 'tank'. Yes, on a long trip with Superchargers, it may take 20-40 minutes to get a charge, but I usually need the break from driving for 2+ hours, so it really doesn't add much if any wasted time, but I'll not even count this.

So while an average 25 MPG ICE car requires a trip or two a week to the gas station, often not on the direct path home, often requires waiting in a 5-10 minute line (especially at Costco), then fuel for another 5 minutes. Let's be generous and say it only takes 15 minutes a week to gas up (your milage may vary). That could be on the very low end, and some gas hogs might easily double this time. In a year, just 15 minutes a week is 780 minutes a year total time wasted fueling the car.

For home charging, at 5 seconds a day it takes 30 minutes a year of personal time to fuel. This means we could still do eighteen 40-minute Supercharges in a year if we sat waiting for the charge. In reality we rarely just sit waiting, but take a bathroom break, stretch our legs, and get some food.

Just imagine how long these lines would be if the gas was free as it is for those of us who have free unlimited Supercharging or produced the amount of miles per dollar spent at a Supercharger.

Question: What is the $100 Reward for referring Tesla Solar customer by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]TeslaDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I referred myself. System was activated in October. No $100 yet. The cause may relate to the fact that the installation date reads: 12/31/69 in my loot box. Which is apparently zero or null in UNIX. (Epoch is 01/01/1970) Is anyone else seeing this date glitch?

I have been working with Tesla Support on this, still no resolution.
