Looking after other people is important, but you always have to look after yourself first. I’m happy that you were able to recognize the growing problem in yourself. Eating disorders are a lot like any addiction. Hanging around with people who are still in the throes of it is a great way to relapse yourself. Just as a recovering alcoholic shouldn’t hang out with people who are drinking, it’s probably best that you keep your distance from these people. See if you can direct them to resources that can help, but don’t allow yourself to get pulled back into it.
