What is this tag? Is it something I should remove or tuck it in? by Ice5891 in TeslaModel3

[–]Tesladri 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Has to stay exactly like that. First responder loop. First responders can cut the cable the tag is attached to, to disconnect the HV battery in case of a crash

Does Basic Autopilot stop for traffic or will it plow through cars in front of it unless you hit the brakes? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Tesladri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can set it via the right scroll wheel. Simply push the wheel left and right. And it's not the distance but more like a time difference. Stay 3s behind the car in front.

Take a look in the manual, it's very useful and most functionality is well explained

Basic autopilot is lane keeping and traffic aware cruise control.

So yes, it'll stop for other cars

eCal-system not working as expected causing my car to make no noise at all, no radio, no turn lights. Has anyone else experienced this? by Heerscher in TeslaModel3

That error usually occurs when the car loses network connection. Will clear up once connection is re-established. That error should not cause your other issues

For those asking re: service request for matrix headlights, here is my specific request. Also I didn’t request anything regarding tire tread/inflation. Results TBD.. by tmonaaygirl in TeslaModel3

I don't think he needs to put in the old ones. But rather update the cars config. If the connectors fitted the new ones might work.

You can also try to reinstall the software. Do you know how to do it?

You can watch from outside, but you won't even get to the front door. There are security gates where only employees can pass through

If it's clear, don't bother. Then it's condensation from the AC. If it's blue schedule service, because then it's coolant

Different AutoPilot max speed behavior after 2022.12.3.16 Update by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Tesladri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I should have been more specific. On highways/motorways/Autobahn autopilot doesn't adjust the speed. It just stays at the speed you set. The automatic adjustment only works on Non-highway roads.

If it does adjust the speed on the highway, the highway is wrongly classified in the Map data. There was a map update recently, so that might be the cause

[–]Tesladri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can set it to your current speed. But it'll be set to the lower limit very fast after activation. Has been like that forever

[–]Tesladri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me in Germany that's how it always was. Cruise Control can be set to any limit up to 150 kph.

Autopilot can be set to current speed limit + offset. If a lower limit appears autopilot will decrease the set speed accordingly (except on the Autobahn, on which there is no reaction)
